6x 2015 Fourrier MSD Sorbes, maybe the hardest Fourrier wine to get hold of, even harder than CSJ as Fourrier only has 0.1 Ha plot. The ‘09 version is very good, only vintage I have ever tasted.

A new food processor. I need one to turn roasted hazelnuts into paste to go into homemade gelato.

1 x 2016 Edmunds St. John El Jaleo and 3 x 2015 Edmunds St. John Rocks & Gravel (to cellar). Opened El Jaleo as soon as I got home, so delicious and now I need to go back for more.

Over the weekend, I started the buying for my wife's MFA graduation party next month:

2 cases of Toques et Clochers Cremant de Limoux (champagne cocktail base)
2 bottles of Campari
1 bottle each: Angostura, Hella Aromatic & Hella Citrus bitters

The small bottles of Hella were marked down to $2.99 each at my local Cost Plus, by the way.

Very nice, ski(notfor)free! Were did you shop? We're taking the kids up to Snoqualmie for a half day Saturday. This will only be their second time on skis and they're still pretty young, so a half day is all they can handle. The "snow" will likely be crap, but oh well. It's close.

BRR, mostly I shopped the Sturtevant's progressive sale. The skis came from REI because they had already sold out at Sturtevant's, and I could use my dividend from last year. Rack came from Road Rack on 8th in Bellevue.

NOAA says a high of 42 at The Pass Saturday - have fun! I like spring skiing with nice soft snow.

TJs beer for Dear Husband.

Two types of positioning pillows for me. Experimenting with ideas to better support back and joints as maturing sets in. Nothing to lose? From Amazon.

Aging is time-consuming and not exactly glamourous. Sigh.

No wine, as too much incoming. But that's OK.

3 Bottles of 2015 Vieux Chateau Certan for a fair tariff earlier this week, and today a few bottles of Drouhin Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir. Can't go a week without buying something

remarkable restraint

To be fair, those are good buys!

Trader Joe's Simpler Times Lager for DH. 6.2% alcohol and he has been enjoying it lately. Thought of getting a bit of Smithwick's or Guinness, but he does not prefer either, and they cost more. So why go there?

Also, a new pair of eyeglass frames from Costco. Need a backup pair and the price is right.

Not exactly a St. Patrick's celebration for us tomorrow, so it will be vino for me and who knows for DH? Plenty of juice on hand and plenty of incoming.

Weekend Cheers!
