Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with spices, cherry-cola, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+). |

Finish is a bit too phenolic and ripe but not too distracting. Can’t agree with statements that this drinks like classic Chablis. For me, this has absolutely nothing in common with traditional Chablis except it’s the same varietal. |

Youthful, cedarbox, vanilla, ripe fruits, ripe pear, ripe pineapple with a sweet fruit essence on the nose and palate. Viscous and tangy with more citrus on the back end that buoys the flashy tropical fruits and oak. Not a wallflower, but well made and should integrate nicely over another 2 years. 91(+)pts. |
