Med+ gold due to extended skin contact for the Malvasia & Albana's natural hue. Med+ nose of jasmine, ripe pear, apricot, anise, lavender, papaya, sweet spices, honey. Stainless steel. Dry, w/ med acid & alcohol (13%) & med (-) tannins. The Albana also contributes to the waxy, oily texture. Med+ body, w/ med+ to pronounced flavor intensity and med+ length. Age-worthy. Unique. Great QPR. |

Somm opened this specially for us when we asked for a glass after the bottle of Costa del Vente. Orange wine with big structure, nutty and beeswax, lots of grip on the palate. Interesting more than delicious. |

Clean, complex, med+ yellow apple, pear, white flowers and dried herbs. All stainless. Youthful. Dry, with juicy fruit, med+ acidity, high alcohol (14.5%) and a round mouthfeel. Full-bodied, with a long, savory, pleasantly chewy, mineral finish. It is well balanced and should be paired with full-flavored, creamy pasta dishes, salumi or white meats. Very interesting and intriguing. |

Blossom, citrus, honey, apricot. Nutty. Feels almost off dry on the palate, so much is the richness but the acidity is med+. Interesting tea, hay hints. Med+ finish. |

The palate is dry, but fruit forward and spicy, consistent with the nose. The acidity and tannins are medium to medium (+). The alcohol is high at 15% but is well integrated and not noticeable. This wine is drinking very well now and - although likely to show well for several years - is really not meant to be aged. |

The acidity and tannins are medium to medium (+). The alcohol is high at 15% but is well integrated and not noticeable. This wine is drinking very well now and - although likely to show well for several years - is really not meant to be aged. Tried it twice with similar notes. |

The nose is clean, complex, with apple, pear, white flowers, dried herbs and a little earth. The palate is dry, with juicy fruit, medium (+) acidity, medium (+) to high alcohol (14.5%) and a hint of dusty tannins. This is a well balanced, full-bodied white with a long, savory, pleasantly bitter mineral finish. It is named after the yellow sands which are the natural habitat for the Albana varietal. Very interesting and intriguing. |
