This producer has apparently, recently converted to biodynamics and returned to more traditional winemaking. I found this quite elegant and attractive. Light weight in style, like great Pinot Noir. 14% ABV. Typical flavor profile. Probably better with some cellaring. |

No rush to drink these, but I'm not sure how much more improvement can be expected with continued aging. I wonder if the polished style of this wine has clipped some aspects of aroma and flavor from reaching more complexity and intensity? I think so, but still very enjoyable. |

Quite lifted/light on the nose; on the palate buckets of grainy tannins, but pretty well balanced by quite a round body, presumably from the barriques. Attractive; all pretty primary red fruit at this stage; not a lot of florality or tertiary stuff going on. So a little simple but probably only due to its youth. Good not great! |
