October 17, 2018 - Guy's Night Out (Jason's, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red/purple color. 3.5 hour decant. Dry earth, pencil, dark and murky fruits, spices, and oak. The palate is higher toned, graphite, tart red raspberry, black currant, medium plus length. I've had this several times now, but this bottle was a bit less expressive for whatever reason, though i suspect it is still just too young. 92(+)pts.

10/25/18, 4:53 PM - Seems like there are 2 kinds of '03 bottles floating around out there in the wide-open world of wine. Yours at 92 and others at 95. Pretty good either way, I say!
