Pear, apple. some herb and chalk aromas. Nice mouthfeel, the dosage is mild, though it does feel quite rounded overall. Not especially complex, but a nice starting wine.

Apple, yeast and toasty notes. Good focus on the palate, the acid comes through nicely and the fruit has more depth than the Ultradition. Very nice.

Earthy, lemon, floral notes on the nose. Good acid and drive, with the fruit restrained but working nicely with the other components.

Toast, toffee apple and pear aromas. Nice mouthfeel, good length to it. Has power, but the acidity counters it well.

Nutty, citrus, honeysuckle and pear aromas. The palate is powerful, with the fruit rounding out the mouthfeel nicely. Finishes very fresh and clean. Composed power.

Mineral and pear. Fresh flavours, good acid cut but finishes with a touch of bitterness.

Spice, pear and lemon. Really nicely balanced, shows a class above the standard 2012 Chablis. The fruit is light but it has some depth to it as well. Good length.

Very floral nose with some apricot and pear as well. Mouthfilling richness, the acidity thankfully gives it a fresh lift. Enjoyable as it is right now.

Popcorn, florals and vanilla. Nicely textured with medium length and decent depth.

Stonefruit and lime. Palate is nice, has fresh acid and a roundness to the fruit that feels complimentary. Medium length.

Expressive nose of pear and florals. Palate shows some residual sugar (maybe 10 g/l?), with good length and balance.

Lemon, lime and lanolin aromas. Tiny touch of residual sugar works nicely with the phenolics and acid. Showing well right now.

Earthy and floral nose, with some lees influence and smoke. Mouthfeel is a little soft for my liking but the length is alright and the flavours are pleasant - if the palate was as interesting as the nose this would have been rated higher.

Blend of 08/09/10/11 fruit. Smoky, nutty and apple aromas. Well balanced with nice acidity and some of the flavour complexity from the nose also showing up. I wasn't expecting to like this so much but there was plenty to think about and enjoy.

Lemon and peach on the nose. Soft on the palate, there is a bit of sugar added after fermentation which I think explains the softness. I don't mind it but it isn't overly interesting.

Sea spray and chalky aromas. Feels very dry, though it does have 7 g/l dosage. Good length and balance. Could develop well over a few years.

Roses and pear on the nose. Very fresh, has some intensity to the fruit. A nice style, though some more complexity would help.

Rose, lime and toast from the oak. Palate is clean, I wish it had a bit more texture to go with the fruit, but it is nice all the same.

White florals and some earth. Restrained palate, medium length. Not overly interesting to me but it is well made and enjoyable enough.

Garrigue herbal elements to the nose along with lemon and saline character. The palate has some complexity to it, it is touched by the same herbal elements. Won't be for everyone but I rather enjoyed it.

Pear, lemon and floral notes. Shines on the palate, there is rich fruit but the acid line is strong and carries the wine to a long finish. Liked this a lot.

Chalk and stoney aromas. Nice richness to the fruit which is balanced by a very fresh and drying acid line. Has plenty of class.

Intensely perfumed - flint, chalk, white florals and lemon. Class above on the palate, it sparkles with plenty of fruit power and an fine core of acidity. Give it some more time and it will be superb.

Taking on some colour. Herb, peaches and toast. Rich fruit drives the palate, but the acid falls away just a little early for my liking. Very good anyway.

Herb and citrus aromas. Medium length. Average wine that neither inspires nor disappoints.

Delicate aromas of peach, pine and herb. Nice fruit weight on the palate, with a sense of purity about it and a core of acid that strings things along for longer than expected. Very good!

Floral and some apricot aromas. Leaner styled fruit on the palate, it has medium length and decent drive.

Floral, slate and pear. Clean palate with light fruit. Nice at the entry level.

Not much happening on the nose but a little apple perhaps. Light on the palate as well, has a lick of sweetness. Decent length and enjoyable for what it is.

Plenty of spice and citrus aromas. Fruit has a bit of power to it, the acidity keeps it in check though.

Intense spice and citrus aromas. There is plenty of sweetness to the palate, as well as a touch of alcohol. Also has a touch of bitterness which I often don't mind but didn't really work for me on this occasion. Might settle with time?

Apricot, peach, spice and honey. Drinking well now, good balance, sweetness is present but doesn't dominate. I like the flavour profile.

Mineral, meal and spice. Good minerality on the palate as well, flows nicely and the fruit has depth to it. Smart wine.

Funky nose - cider and earth. Broad bubbles, the palate is also rather funky. Something different but will polarise.

Melon, hay and smoke. Good cut on the palate, the fruit is restrained and maybe a little too hidden on this occasion.

Saline, honey and nutty aromas. Easy to drink, very refreshing. Has length to it as well. Super value for money wine.

Pear and grapes. Sweet, moscato like palate - with sugar and grape flavour. Okay.

Earth on the nose. Palate is soft and rather boring.

Pear, spice and violet. Simple palate, has a good hit of acid but not a whole lot else to it.

Apple and light funkiness. Palate is shallow and simple.

Aromatic - floral, earth and orange. Nice level of sweetness, has good acid and I think it is pretty likeable overall.

Mango, peach and pineapple. Palate is rounded at the edge but the acid cuts through and there is some very good texture. Medium length.

Lemon and herb aromas. Soft palate, there is some herb alongside the ripe fruit. Wish it had more acid, like the 448.

Lemon and lime aromas. Better acid on this compared to the Pinot Bianco. Still has richness but the cleansing nature of the acid improves the balance.

Sesame and toasty nose - really like it. Lovely balance, good flavour and length. These wines are unique and I'm becoming a fan quickly.

Pear, lemon and passionfruit. Good acid, a light nutty character that lends some interest. Medium length.

Light mineral and perfumed floral nose. Nice texture, good flavour and fruit presence.

Tropical fruit nose. Shows the same fruit on the palate - very forward with its fruit. Okay.

Toast, lemon and apple. Light palate, a little texture but not so much depth.

Passionfruit and spice. Clean, good punch from the fruit and finishes with a swarm of acidity. Good.

Light red fruits. Medium bodied with plenty of pepper and spice. Good result from the vintage.

Perfume and mint aromas. High acid and there is an element of green bitterness to the tannins.

Herbal and floral. Mild fruit on the palate, fruit covers the bitterness of the tannins better than on the 2011 Terre Pinot Noir but it is still there.

Pepper, cherry and plum. Palate is nice, has good acid and medium length. Will age over the medium term.

Rhubarb, pepper, light stalks. Good acid, some meaty savouryness. Very nice.

Better than a previous taste, but still not up to scratch. Heavy stalks, some red fruits and florals. Stalks show through on the palate and there is a bitter tinge to them. Lacking.

Heavily herbal on the nose and palate. Bitter tannins as well. Doesn't have the fruit to compensate.

Perfume, stalk and graphite. Nice balance, a little stalk to it but it is part of the wine rather than standing on its own. I like it.

Plum, mint and cherry, plus some funky element that I like. Good fruit purity, it feels restrained and there is plenty of spice backing it up. Very good!

Very floral and perfumed nose. Lovely balance, great acid spark. Carries really well. One that I want to return to and try again.

Perfumed, plum, black cherry and tar. Good tannin presence with a nice medium bodied fruit profile.

Pepper, spice and mineral. Mineral on the palate too - nice flow and flavour purity. Touch of a herbal element but I like it a lot.

Rhubarb and cherry. Good acid, tannins are rather firm but the fruit is quith plump and it works together.

Mild nose but there is plenty of flavour on the palate - violet and cherry. Grips on the finish.

Cherry and heavy reduction. Medium bodied, tannins are firm and bold. Decent length even with the heavy grip but it doesn't quite feel balanced.

Tar and cherry. Plush fruit but it is helped along by racy acidity. Would benefit a lot from food but I like it for its structure and drive.

Intense and complex perfume. Fine tannins, delivers both intensity and class. Would definitely buy for myself if the price is right.

Tar and graphite with some earth and spice. Intense fruit along with excellent tannic structure. Serious wine that is promising a lot for the future.

Meaty and toasty. Palate is medium fruited, could do with some more depth, though it is decent to drink.

Spice and stalks. Lean style but does have some good length to it. Would be improved by food considerably I think.
