Light maroon, pale pink rim, light extraction; light strawberry, sour cherry, cranberry; rich round, heavier palate, sour cherry and pit, iron, tart finish; a bit awkward now, needed a chill; was in Pommard.

Deep crimson, good clarity, rusty rim; graham cracker, charcoal, red cherry, dried roses, prune, may have seen too much air; Nebbiolo?, dry, cedar, dried roses; not sure about this one.

Cloudy crimson core, semi-translucent, paler rim; sweet cherry and strawberry, fresh roses, cedar; richer palate, slight grainy and drying tannin, brick dust, cedar, sun dried tomatoes, grippy; underestimated this thinking it was upper tier Chianti Classico; 90+.

Light see through maroon; fresh, floral, ripe Burgundy, sour dark cherry, violets, sweet sappy raspberry and strawberry, white rock; some fat but nicely taut, good tensile strength, persistent, dark red and maroon fruit; very good; nailed it!

Dull maroon, see through, pale lake rim; sulfur, rich sweet red fruit, sappy, white pepper; lots of mineral on palate, bitter note, sweet sappy fruit, high acid, strawberry, light cherry and cranberry; interesting, ok.

Black core with bright purple rim; bright purple fruit, deep and rich, violets, no black pepper; nice round and ripe fruit, tart finish, dark raspberry, soft tannin, a little leather; nailed it!; 89+.

Darker deep red with lighter rim, good clarity; clove, nutmeg, deep red fruit, sour cherry, dried oranges, complex, plum skin; firm palate, sour cherry, orange oil, red cherry, Italian-esque, herbal note shades the fruit, not a great mid but decent focus, very mineral finish; not a harmonious wine but very complex, maybe time will bring things together a bit more, 89+.
