2011 Sea Smoke Pinot Noir Sea Spray Blanc de Noirs

Mega peaches, citrus, lemon, nice high acid, slightly pink and almost a rose, high salinity. I liked it, but unmistakably California. The fresh fruit nose was intriguing, but totally lacked all the depth of traditional champagne with its yeast and toast. Also, for $100, pretty poor QPR. Comparable champagne would crush it. Still intriguing....
