Red
2001 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà
Nice, round with fine leather tannin. A bit drying on finish. Really good.
Flight 3 (3 notes)
Red
1978 Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard
Great. Strong, mature and in a great place. Menthol, dried herb- origin. Black olive. Excellent.
Red
1976 Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard
Showing just a little age. Menthol, herbal. A bit of coffee on finish.
Red
1977 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
Bright, clean, a bit more simple than Heitz, lacks the depth. This wine is all about the fruit.
Flight 4 (3 notes)
Red
1997 Antinori Solaia
Very dark. Strong and muscular. Black olive, earth, tar. Could use a little more bottle age, but drinking ok. Very good.
