A strange blend. Has the acidity of Riesling and the friendliness of Pinot Gris. I will not score it "officially" because I don't know what to think. (Would be 78 probably.) This is not my wine.

This is a mouth full of wine. Very full bodied. Good oak, good acidity. Good harmony and a long aftertaste. This wine is much more complex than the normal Saumur. I really have to buy a few bottles, because this wine can age as well. And my score might be too low.

A nice and dry wine, which, because of the very ripe fruits gives a little sweet impression. The acidity is ok and refreshing. No great complexity, but certainly great with fruits de mèr.

The oak is more dominating in this vintage than in the 2002. There is fresh citrus behind it, but overall I this wine is just a little less well balanced than the 2002 and 2005.

Compared to 2002 and 2004 this is a more ripe style. Gives almost a somewhat sweet impression with tropical fruits. Overall full bodied and already a very open and harmonious wine.

Full bouquet but not very expressive. The wine is full bodied and round with good acidity and a lot of citrus.

The most beautiful Bocard of this vintage I drank the last days. Very good balance between the fruits and the oak. There is enough of the latter, but it is well integrated and the fruit can handle it.

Crispy citrus and green apples. Well integrated and well dosed oak. Elegant wine.

Good soft oak with good crispy fruits behind it. Still very young. Needs more time so the tastes get integrated. Good pqr.

Very full bodied and loaded with primary cassis fruits. Very concentrated. Still very young. This might be one of the best, if not the best red Saumur I ever tasted.

Round. Ripe dark cherries and cassis. Very fruity and full bodied. Very good pqr.

A mouth full of wine. A lot of ripe cherries and cassis and in the background well hidden oak. Hint of sweetness. Good balance. This wine is a promise for the future; let’s say 3 – 5+ years from now.

Toasted oak. Overripe fruits. Both in the bouquet as well as the taste. It is juicy. I am not overly impressed.

Very easy drinking wine. There is some raspberry and strawberry, but no great complexity.

Don't know if it is the bottle. The wine is not a 100% fresh. Not corked but musty. No score.

Little barnyard. A lot of juice. Raspberries. Pleasant but not exquisite wine.

Nice balance between sweetness and acidity. Almost like candy. The wine combines firm tannin and elegance. An excellent wine, but I am not as impressed as I was with the previous bottle.

Barnyard. Juicy ripe fruits. Raspberries mainly. The tannin is still firm. A hint of sweetness in the background. Nice balance.

Barnyard and meat. In a nice stage of its development. Soft but firm tannin. Long aftertaste. Not extremely rich, but certainly a good wine. Drink between now and 2 years.

Enormous concentration. Orange peel, honey, tropical fruits, peaches. Maybe a little one-dimensional at the moment, but this wine can last for decades. The score will probably be higher in 5+ years from now.

Very nice wine. A lot of primary fruits. Juicy. Very ok, without being exclusive.

Full bodied. Good fruits like cassis and black cherries, Pleasant soft oak as well as tannin. Not extremely complex, but the wine is more than ok. A wine with a great pqr.

Compared to my first bottle this one was disappointing. The fruits tasted overripe if not boiled. This was probably another shipment and possibly something went wrong. I do not know and I do not score it.
