Tasted non-blind. Fermented in cuve and aged for six months in barrique, non-malo. Chardonnay-led, this is still fresh and energetic, elegant, floral and citrussy, with a nice touch of red apple and a hint of nutty evolution. Well-balanced, a lovely wine.

Tasted blind. Fragrant and floral nose, suggests Grenache Blanc, hint of pepper, light, juicy and aromatic palate, relatively soft, nice hint of peach, easy, decent to good length. Pure and pleasing but relatively straightforward.

Tasted blind. Clearly Viognier, both in the nose and on the palate, apricot, flowers, marzipan, cinnamon, white pepper, quite full (14.5%) nice bitters, probably unoaked, decent intensity, good persistence and length.

Tasted blind. A refined and floral wine, very silky and harmonious, young but already subtle and layered, pear and melon, playful and elegant, light on its feet, belies the underlying concentration, fennel and peppermint on the finish.

Very oaky on nose and palate, but the oak has been handled masterfully, not a single rough edge, subtle bourbon vanilla adds interest but does not overpower, there is ample youthful richness and fleshy fruit to buffer the oak, butter, acidity seems slightly low, the varietal is not easy to distinguish at present, but probably Viognier. Needs time.

Tasted blind. Full and rounded, vinous, honey, develops a hint of nuttiness, no susceptible oak, touch of almond, slightly varnishy, slightly separated acidity but lifted finish with very good length. Fully mature to say the least.

Tasted blind. 100% Marsanne, from two parcels planted with centenarian vines. Oaky, juicy, vibrant, hint of butter, Marsanne clearly in evidence, youthful, soft and ripe, pleasant but not profound, minerals, floral note suggests Roussanne? Nicely done, balanced and silky, no excess heat, drying finish, nice bitters, decent length.

Tasted blind. Expressive nose of marzipan and roses, yellow fruit and some oak, buttery and spicy, rounded and full, mature but still fresh, low acidity, velvety, flavours have a hint of white tea, light but intense finish, peach, mango, very good length. Excellent.

Tasted blind. Distinct note of strawberry, very lifted, hint of pepper, good depth, hint candy, bright and juicy, flowers and bitters, slightly hard finish, decent length.

Tasted blind. Quite oxidative, buttery, hint of nuts, makes a comeback with some oxygen, citrus and mineral freshness, apple, quite compact, hard to fathom, has nice poise and length.

Magnificent wine, honey, flowers, spicy minerals, tightly wound, bursting with energy, ripe citrus, perfectly seamless, deep, precise and layered, perfectly integrated oak, polished, effortless elegance, layered and long. Tasted blind. Deep and honeyed, very rich and spicy, candied fruit, juicy and full but nutty and really a bit tired.

Tasted blind. Mature but lively appearance; lifted nose, roses and sweet strawberries, peach, attractive but not very complex, lots of Grenache; the attack is sweet but the palate is juicy but quite youthful and grippy (skin phenolics); liquorice and tea on the finish, good length.

Mature but lively appearance; deep and spicy nose, pain d'épices, very lifted, red berries and ripe cherries, perfume, sous-bois, gravelly warmth; sweet attack, the palate displays a lot of phenolic grip (skins), impressive intensity and minerality, tannic and firm, medium body, lovely balance and length.

Tasted blind. Mature appeareance; much livelier nose than the colour suggests, lifted and estery, modern and sweet, quite alcoholic, plummy and tannic at the same time, marked by the heat, burnt to the point of rubberiness, long but hot.

Youthful colour, purple cherry, no signs of evolution; deep and rich and plummy nose, with a freshness and pepperiness that suggest Mourvèdre and Syrah, hint of vanilla, masculine, firm tannins, ripe fruit, broad shoulders, powerful and long. Very classical, clearly old vine.

Tasted blind. Beautiful nose, mature, harmonious and rich, deep, black cherries, coffee and leather, mineral, spicy, lots of barnyard; punchy and vibrant palate, warmth from the vintage, medium body, structured and tannic, long and layered finish, excellent length.
