Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. Lots of sour apple and chalk, touches of citrus and tangerine. May get a bit better with some age. Solid.

Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. I found this a bit more intriguing than the '10 Michel Spec Club. There was more finesse and a bit more freshness, and despite the lower PSI (59 vs 88 on average) there was a bit more yeastiness, citrus, green stone fruit, and clean mineral notes.

Medium gold color. Drank 1+ glass over 90 minutes. We drank this next to the '11 Ramonet Ruchottes and while both were youthfully good, I found there to be a elegance to the BBM that was not there in the Ruchottes. Both wines show a fair bit of oak, not surprising given their pedigree and youth; but I found the integration curve more appealing on the BBM. I think that some others may have preferred the Ruchottes presently, and while both are clearly superior wines, the BBM for me has another level. Lemon, medium to medium full bodied, cedar, yellow fruits, golden, lemon, lemon oil, elegant, more oak showing on the palate than the nose, some vanilla cream, and a long sophisticated finish.

Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over an hour. Drank this next to the '11 BBM. The Ruchottes is actually a bigger wine. This has more body and shows more oak presently. However, the basis of both wines is quite similar. Medium full bodied, more intense, meyer lemon, lemon oil, lovely texture, more toasted oak, medium finish

Light gold color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. This was cold on serving and needed some time to come to temp, but when it did, it was showing nicely. There's a wonderful lime/green fruit aspect to this wine on both the nose and palate where the tartness of the green fruit and dry extract really shine. Osk, tart green fruit, oak, white fruit, lemon, mineral, lime dry extract. 91+(+)pts.

Murky medium red color. Followed one glass over 90 minutes. This bottle was just very advanced. The fruit was pretty much gone, there's a hint of red fruit but this is now dominated by celery, celery root, and a strongly vegetal element. There is a bit of leather and hints of dried flowers way in the background; like the color this is murky on the palate as well, vegetal, subtle sour red fruit, celery.

Damn, this was corked, albeit mildly; but I will contend it may be one of the best corked wines I've had, FWTW :). We had this wine not too long ago and you could really see that essence there, especially on the nose. Ah well, so it goes.

Medium dark red color. PNP, followed one glass over 90+ minutes. Part of a flight of 3 Chambertin over 34 years. This was very clearly the young buck in the group. There's plenty of red ripe fruit from the vintage, cedar, spice, and lots of oak. The palate struggles now against the oak. The ripe red fruit of the vintage tries to hold its own against the wood, medium plus body, matchstick, spice. Give this 5 years and let's see. 90(+?)pts.

Medium dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. We've had this wine several times now, and it's been nothing if not consistent. Lovely and intriguing nose of spice, red fruits, florals, potpourri. The palate offers plenty of tart cherry fruit, spice, mineral, funky earth, and a great length on a medium body with silky tannins. Excellent, and I wish I'd picked up more of these. 93+pts.

Medium plus dark red color. PNP, with some serious cork surgery here. Drank 1 glass over an hour plus. This bottle while solid, was nowhere near as good as the one we had about 2 years ago. More vegetal notes and a suggestion some heat issues, yet this still had an essence of what I recall: tart red berries, dried herbs, vegetal, mineral. The palate shows tart red fruits, a strong mineral component, long and earthy on the finish with some nice spice. 91 to 91+pts.

Medium plus red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. Last had this 2 years ago and looking back, this is very similar to then. Very nice balance with red fruits, cherry, currants, and underbrush, earth, with spice and a medium finish. Very good. 91+ to 92pts.

Medium dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. Definitely a step up compared to an excellent '06 T-L-B LSG. So pretty with a freshness to the berry red fruits, cinnamon, florals, and nuanced spices. Nice depth and another '07 showing so nicely.
