Pale yellow color with a medium mousse. Orchard fruit, cooked ginger and toasted almond notes. Medium bead with nice fruit and toast. Excellent.

Pale copper pink color. Pear, red berry and brioche notes. Berry and melon on the palate.

From magnum. 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay with a dosage of 7g/L which is typical for La Grande Année. Lovely rich toasty brioche, orchard fruit and crème brulee notes. Sautéed apple, wet dough, marshmallow and ginger on the palate. Rich and toasty. Terrific. 93-94+ pts.

Red berry, melon, honeycomb and dried stone fruit elements. More of the same on the palate, ending with a subtle nutty/almond note.
