Medium nose of tropical fruit and florals. Charming white fruit. Good fresh acidity. Drinking well already.

Red cherry and stem on the nose. Round, lush fruit with good energy and brightness. Classic and approachable already. 89-90

Step up from the negociant MSD. The fruit is darker and more substantial. Nice density and balance. Good stem character in the red and black cherry. Needs a few years, but not too long. 90-91

2017 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes
Full nose with a nice perfume of red cherry with stem, meat and spice. Velvety texture with moderate concentration. Shows more richness than many 2017s. 91-93

2017 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche
Full, effusive and intense nose with plenty of stem and black cherry. Medium-to-full concentration. A more elegant version of this wine, with plenty of depth and nuance, if a little less rich/dense than other vintages. Still delightful. 93+

2017 Domaine Dujac Clos St. Denis
More aromatic complexity than the CdlR with similar stem and black cherry, but more florals and spice. The palate is very silky with refined tannin and an elegant textural complexity. I really like this in the more classic 2017 vintage. 93-94+

2017 Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts
Inviting nose of black cherry, stem and Asian spice. Medium concentration that is reflective of the vintage. Silky and elegant. 91-92

2017 Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts
A step up from the Beux Monts with more intense spice and stem in the nose. More weight on the palate too with sweeter, spice-infused fruit. Great silky finish. 92-93+

2017 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux
Full and intense nose with distinctly red fruit and nice stem/spice. A step up in richness and concentration from the Vosne 1er wines. Nice richness and density to the plush fruit. Should age and gain depth/nuance over the medium term. 93+
Red
2004 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche
Served blind from a bottle open ~24 hours. Smoky black cherry. The palate is lean and a bit clipped. Clearly a lighter vintage. Surprised to learn 2004 as the wine wasn't at all green. Mid to high 80s, none the less.

2001 Domaine Dujac Clos St. Denis
Served blind. PnP. Complex, exotic and alluring nose of smoke, tar, stem, pleasant earthy funk and red and black cherry. The palate has medium+ concentration. Earthy, stemmy red fruits. A bit short but I suspect a bit of air will round out and lengthen the wine. Love Dujac of this era. 93-95+
