White
2012 Domaine Michel Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet

Ripe apple and some peach with floral and spice notes. Good depth and weight for its level, even if not the most complex of wines. Very good for its level, very good for now.
White
2002 Aubert Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast

So much ripe and rich orchard fruit with stone fruit, nicely mature while so spiced and nuanced with just a little bit of butterscotch for even more complexity. So much here, shockingly bright and long.

White
2014 Domaine Pinson Frères Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru

Very enjoyable apple and lemon peel with good weight and textures, just not quite as bright, complex or exciting vs when tasted in Burgundy in early 2016.
Rosé
2017 Triennes Rosé France, Provence, Mediterranée
86 points
So easy, balanced and enjoyable with apple and berry notes in a simple package.
White
2017 Cade Sauvignon Blanc USA, California, Napa Valley

Small glass, brief note. Too ripe, too grassy without the bright charm I like in leaner, brighter Sauv Blanc.
White
2017 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis France, Burgundy, Chablis
86 points
Served double blind. Didn't seem like Chardonnay with its lemon and grassy character. I thought Loire Sauv Blanc, good overall with medium weight. At least I got the right country.
White
2014 Francois Carillon Puligny-Montrachet Clos du Vieux Château France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet

Served double blind, clearly seemed to be white Burgundy. Apple and pear throughout with good weight and length for its level with a bright finish. Good now.
White - Sparkling
N.V. Louis Roederer Champagne Brut Premier France, Champagne
86 points
Tasted double blind. Mostly 2009 vintage wine , disgorged 2013. Didn't seem like Champagne, given a rich but somewhat flabby character with a soft finish. Good but very simple for me today.

White
2010 Donelan Chardonnay Nancie USA, California, Sonoma County

Fully mature orchard fruit that is ripe with nutty and butterscotch character. Medium with, good length. Drink up.
Red
2012 Paul Lato Pinot Noir Seabiscuit Zotovich Vineyard USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills
88 points
Charming spice-driven nose with floral notes and plenty of sweet red cherry. Same sweet red cherry flavors with slightly less spice. Good+ weight with a sweet note on its finish with good length. Best to enjoy now. I enjoyed this more when tasted just after release.
