Pale gold. Toasted almonds on the nose. On the palate medium acidity, nice rich body, apples and apricots, long finish. Perhaps a bit high on the residual sugar. Very good.

Pale gold. Roasted nuts and toast on the nose. On the palate low acidity, high alcohol, rich body, lemons and fresh cut grass, a bit bitter on the finish. This is a crazy wine but not really my thing.

Pale lemon, nose of peach and lychee. On the palate high acidity some residual sugar sour apples, short finish.

Medium garnet. Barnyard and tobacco box on the nose. On the palate medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, candied cranberries and forest floor. Long finish. Light on the palate but well balanced. Still drinking incredibly well for a 45+ year old wine. Still has some life but drink up.

Deep ruby. Tobacco cedar and leather on the nose. On the palate very tight, black fruit and tobacco box but drops off fast, short finish. Not sure what to make of this, could be over the hill, could be bottle variation, could be in a weird phase.

Deep ruby. Tobacco and reduction on the nose. On the palate high acidity medium alcohol full body, high tannins, still kicking, chocolate and black cherries. Night and day compared to the 96. No rush on this one.

Deep ruby. Beautiful nose of cherries and cedar. On the palate, high acidity high tannin, medium alcohol, cherries, needs more time.

Deep ruby. On the nose tobacco leather and black fruit. On the palate chocolate and black cherries, savory notes, extreme complexity, never ending finish. One of my wines if the year.

Deep garnet. Smoke and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate chocolate and black cherries. High tannin, high alcohol. This one probably needed a few more hours to open to do it justice.

Deep ruby, pronounced tobacco and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate high acidity high tannin, still drinking young. Cherries and blackberries. Outstanding but will improve. Wait.

Deep garnet, cherries and cedar on the nose. On the palate high acidity, medium alcohol medium body, cherries and black raspberries. Kept getting better all night. A lighter touch than most of the other wines in the lineup which shows through.

Pale ruby, Sweet cherries on the nose, on the palate very light body, cherries and strawberries, some white pepper on the finish. Really elegant nice wine though admittedly overpowered by the rest of the lineup.

Medium ruby, pronounced nose of ripe cherries, on the palate rich cherries and raspberries, huge depth of fruit, long finish. A bit hot and will benefit from time but very good now.
