Tasting of 5 Champagnes at Primas. Featured Chardonnay grapes and did they make a big difference to me in this tasting! The nose was very toasty and fruity that led to a great chardonnay mouthful of wine with great acid that suggests it will age another 3-4 years, great complex flavors in the mouth, long finish and great aftertaste. My #1. Yes I bought it at the special price that day.

Tasting of 5 Champagnes at Primas. Showed nice, small bubbles in the glass and sported a toasty nose which led to a tasty, rich mouthful of wine, long, toasty finish and great aftertaste. My #3.

Tasting of 5 Champagnes at Primas. Was a sweet smelling wine on the nose with a sweet, mineral, honey taste in the mouth, finish left no doubt about the honey or sweetness, not my style but still a nice wine. My #4.

Tasting of 5 Champagnes at Primas. Was a clear cut best buy with a slightly austere nose and mineral taste but very flavorful, solid fruit in the mouth, fruity aftertaste and finish. My #2 and I bought 2 bottles.

Big, beautiful nose, hint of earth and mushroom, at peak, nice, lovely wine, medium/long finish.

Great, rich, medium fruity nose, medium body, and medium finish, lovely, well balanced, clean not powerful.

Big, rich, thick, intense, inky taste, very luscious fruit, needs 2 years to peak, nice finish.

Nice, rich, young, briary fruit on the nose, nice soft ripe fruit on the palate, good finish.

Big, rich, thick, well balanced, closed nose, medium/big body, and medium/long finish showed burnt fruit but only a hint.

Nice, young, sweet fruit at peak, well balanced, medium body, medium finish.

Slightly burnt, tired fruit on the nose, over the hill, well balanced, very tight finish.
