Nice flavor, and incredibly dark, but backbone is wavering ... drink up.

Sadly meh. Still feel like I'm drinking a different wine than others, tho my storage of 6 bottles wasn't the problem. This is my last, hoping higher-end TOR prove better.

Feel like there's still a bit of an edge after 2 hours opening ... likely still has more time.

Drinking soft on PnP, beautiful tempranillo taste. Fruit a little more muted than prior bottles, so thinking it's slightly past peak... drink up.

Delicious - opened in-bottle about 3 hours before Christmas dinner, and could use full-decant, another 1-2 hours in the bottle, or 3-5 years in the cellar. Saving my last bottle until my daughter graduates from high school.

Amazingly rich and soft, perfect roundness.

Last bottle, wish I'd saved my others this long.

Disappointly simple and sweet. Or, maybe I'm just growing weary of the Wagner style... either way I'm done buying the Schooner product.

Delicious, if mild and tame -- no sense of oak or friction, probably as good as it gets.

I'd love to be drinking the wine others describe ... two bottles to go, so am hopeful this is an anomaly. Tasting flat, muted fruit, drying tannins but not interesting.

Even after 3+ hours open this didn’t awaken like I’d hoped… fair enough it drinks like a cool region cab; will give my last bottle 18-36 months or more further maturing.

I’m really pleased how this is drinking — coravin’d half on Sunday, then opened for other two glasses on Tuesday. Still tastes like a cab body but in a juicy Zinfandel suit... I know it’s simple but what a pleasure.

Wow. Dark, juicy... really smoothed out over 3+ hours in the bottle. Have 2 left -- will wait at least 1 year each to see what happens.

Really opened up in bottle after 3+ hours: chocolate, dark red fruit, a little tobacco... amazing versus what it was on first opening. I have two bottles left -- maybe wait another year and still give it 1-2 hours on opening... was truly a pleasure at 4 hours so don't want to miss that experience on next bottle.

Started off tart and green as most Tensley Thompsons I've had, then after 2+ hours it eased to be less fruity than his other work, but expressive in its vegetal nature, if still a little uptight. Did not release fruit for me, but still a pleasantly austere drink.

Pruny, disappointing - maybe past prime, but I stored well since buying at retail in 2014, so perhaps had a challenging childhood, but to me I’m disappointed on this one.

On open I loved the fresh oak - taste and smell of cut 2x4s from Home Depot... became a little more bitter with air but still pleasant, simple Turley.

I feel like I had a different wine than other reviewers. I opened and poured off a glass ~3 hours before dinner (too long?); agreed with prior review that there wasn't the fruit I was expecting. Am hopeful this stage is just temporary, and the single-vineyard brethren offer a strong reprise.

Wow, my expectations were too low, even seeing a CT92+ — rating based on PnP so expect to improve. Dark tannins make me think this could have been dosed with a little PS...sad I don’t have any more. Drink now or wait 2ish years.

Wow, drinking great but evidence of the potential. Decanted only 30 min before dinner, and really started opening up at just over 2 hours... next bottle give it a 3-hr decant or hold another 2-3 years.

Wow, what a difference 18 months makes. Fruity and medium-bodied, but with a hint of old-world taste (to which I credit the PS). Unexpected and outstanding bottle tonight, looking forward to my last bottle in 6-18 more months, but no reason to wait now.

Drinking much better than a year ago, will sit on last bottle. Showing no coloration of age, and still a bit wound. Opened only slightly with 3 hours in the bottle, a little better with vinturi, but no substitute for a little more time.
