Getting slowly in it"s window, still a bit closed after two hours decanting. May emerge better probably next year. Fresh, nice, firm and neither too harsh nor too strict. Tannins seemed still a bit closed, so more volume to expect in the following years.

Great, unfiltered stuff. Much better on the second dy, so still developing!

Already gone far below expectations.
Not a good vintage this 2016 it was for their Merlot!

Wish we had a lot more (this is the second of the smaller wines). Still likes to age, needs air (even slightly "sparkling" after two hours in the big decanter). Really pleasant... and low alcohol with wide spectrum of taste.
Honestly - highly recommended, if you're into fine "Gamay" stuff.

Aaargs. Only two bottles (bought at 50% reduction). First one tested over three days. Will improve. Wooow. So nice on third day. Massive honey in the nose, round, smooth and dry in the mouth. Not very sweet. The nose distracts. And never fat. Neither hot ("only" 13,5%).
Wish we had bought more... a lot more :)

For ~6 EUR (half price) drinkable (better the next day). As a previous reviewer mentioned extremely sour and harsh right after opening. Needs air. Not really something to recommend!

Finally another excellent bottle (two in between were already over the edge).
Highly recommended if you like interesting and pleasant old white wines:
"Almond extreme" we would define this :)

Still very closed - even after one hour decanting. Seems to have potential to age. In the mouth very dark fruit, tannins "not on the loose", dry medium to long finish. Will try again in 6 to 12 months.

Great stuff. Well balanced (at first cherry like, but opens up as expected). Needs some air, drink not too cold. Like the "low" alcohol of 13,5...

Definitely not everybody's darling (from the start)!

Very pleasant and harmonic already. To improve your consumption prepare for at least one hour decant.

A perfect winter rose for "the season". Still holds and develops open for days "vacuvined" (slightly impressed).
So no hurry. Be aware - 14%.!

Ok. Let's Analyse this more closely:
A lot of Falstaff points. How many?
95. Honestly!? WTF. Craps out (again) .
On a pretty low level... Probably a "Falstaff winemaker of the year" and had to fill anything to get it's investment from various 'obligatory' events back in again.

Not fond of. Not on any level. This is no serious stuff. Utterly bad 3rd level filling might be the definition.
Overpriced would be an... and... no won't make any relation to what kind of BF it relates to...

There's so much better stuff at this price level (and below).

Please dispurse... nothing to see here!

Two bottles. First today was already spoiled, completely disassembled with a very awkward bitter finish. Will be used for cooking.
Second one opened today was fine but definitely "close to rhe edge". No decanting. Consume right now.
Nice low alcohol btw....

Drink now!

Harsh and sour. Really. Pannobile!!
2017 could be many things but definitely should not be that. Consumed over two dinners/evenings. Decanted 'a lot'.

Acceptable with some tough meat or fatter sauces but no pleasant "joiner".

A stable rock in the "holy range" of southern France "Cuvée Rose".

Depending on vintage this wants to be consumed early or late, icy or just cold, decanted or straight out of the bottle.

Not to confuse anyone. All is true and everything stated might be wrong.

This NEVER needed to be drunk early and any vintage profited from slight aging. This is and was never a pop and pour.

Some vintages tend to be richer, the 22 we'd call into the above average but definitely not a "fat" one. This still needs air and does not profit from being served ice cold (and consumed in this state).
Please get a wider glass and give it a few minutes at least.

Bigger bottle sizes will hold nicely (if you can hold onto them that long...).

My stock of '22 is nearing it' s end, need to restock... even with some bigger sizes.

First bottle finally opened ... opened bottle decanted for three hours.

First day: I'd say that i had expected a bit more. Well structured but not the WOW effect i really was expecting (was i ?).
Second day: Much more balanced and tannins integrated with sweetness in the right spot.

This will improve - next try in 2024 ...

This bottle was in fact ok and pleasant (last one had gone bad).
Cork like new, pretty sure these bottles were filled just a few years ago from an older barrel.

This is a rare case of "if i had not known i would not have guessed what we were drinking" (but that was just lack of knowledge / what to expect).

Decanted for two hours in a caraffe. In the nose extremely fruity, dominant strawberry jam.
Very, very smooth tannins, fruity (you guessed it - strawberry dominant again), juicy round body and medium finish. Everybodys darling in some way.

Expected some more harsh and darker BF style but that is not the case in this region of Lower Austria.

Opened four days ago. Vac-u-vined in between. Already worried if the small amount from two days ago would hold. In fact they "held" tremendously. Rich, full, this may go another five years at least (if you stock this vintage there's no hurry). Our final bottle of '17 (computer says otherwise but i' m not sure if this is really the case, 19' will be next).

Consumed over two evenings (not much decanting on first evening).
When i think of our previous bottle a year ago this developed quite nicely.
Remembering correctly it was rather thin, but pleasant. A violett, brick color, now there's a bit spicy harmonic nose and at least a medium body (tannins opened wide) from the start. Well balanced in the mouth and the acidity seems to have completely disintegrated :)
So - wow, really great now, and in a good "window" !
