Light mineral nose with a slight meaty mortadella note. Enters the mouth with that touch of sparkle on the tip of your tongue and then a finish that lasts forever as the minerality and salty acidity coats the sides of your tongue. Lovely.

Stunning dessert wine after 16 years - delicious figuey fruit with black cherry and prune. A true delight.

Blown away by the aromatics on the nose - cedar, pine forest, eucalyptus - a heady mix that reminds of arabian incense. On the palate, a stunning embodiment of cumin and incense again with that nice shiraz kick on the side of the palate of pepperiness. We ate this with some lengua del toro and some carnitas with a chipotle sauce - the combo blew us away.

Figs, figs, figs. The PMG was a delight of figs on the nose which morphed into prune with a citric edge on the palate. A true joy.

Amazing eucalyptus, spice, gingerbread on the nose. The palate is a complicated blend with a tang of licorice and berry. I agree with previous notes - this is way too early to be drinking this - let this sleep some more.

Delicious acid bomb on the side of the tongue. Crisp minerality. Wonderful example of the grosses gewachs and worth finding.

Despite really wanting to like this wine and looking forward to it enormously, the wine never opened up enough to get there. Inky with no sign of age yet to break down the heavy tannins. Even after four hours open and decanted, impenetrable.

The most enjoyable Loring so far of this year. Great red fruit on the nose - the cherry candy smells coming on strong. Consumed with roast loin of pork marinated in Korean garlic marinade made the cherry fruit on this pop in the mouth. Gentle tang on the side of the palate made for a nice finish. Extremely enjoyable.

Essentially, this is like drinking syrupy liquid figs. Not much subtlety, not terribly well balanced, but fine for what it is.

A very pleasant wine that paired well with a pork tenderloin and a chou fleur au gratin. The nose was black cherry and marzipan - gentle hints of almonds and citrus. Charming on the palate with a hint of clove. Clean. Lovely.

Intriguing - hints of cherry and cilantro on the nose with keffir lime with a side note (butterscotch?) on the palate.
