A very nice and full flavor profile. Still a bit young, but very nice dark fruit characteristics on the palate.

There is jsut something in the flavor profile of this wine that really appeals to me, a complexity, richness and smoothness that I like.

My wife and I got home from 5 days visiting some great wineries in Napa. Not wanting to party to end we each enjoyed a small glass of this excellent wine. We appreciated the smoothness of the mouth feel the upfront rich red and black fruit and medium finish to this wine.

This is simply a delicious wine. A previous note by someone with a better palate made valid points. In a more simple sense, this is a wine with rich berry flavors, a smooth texture, and a nice finish. A good value for the price and a good California Zin.

This was the first bottle of Harlan Estate that my wife and I have ever opened. We took it to a restaurant to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The wine was EVERYTHING it was supposed to be and with a wonderful filet mignon was just spectacular. Full rich, complex, velvety textures, long smooth finish, with great black fruit flavors.....a wine we will long remember!

For me this is a mid pallet wine I tried at a wine tasting featuring a variety of wines from 10 other California wineries. Not expecting to like this wine, I kept coming back to it then bid $80 in a winning bid for a 3L format bottle, which as a relative value for a CA Cab I like, seemed pretty good. We'll see what others thing at the holiday when this gets served. It smes across a bit sweet on the mid pallet with some interesting fruit. It does not offer a long finish, but the finish that is there was good.

Have to agree with the previous note regarding a BEVMO affiliate. I'll randomly sample bottles during their 5cent sale and have found a few good wines at very good values, but not this time. I got a kick out of the sangria comment, I may try that for the second botttle. It is definitely a during the week wine.

My dear bride and I shared this bottle at a nice restaurant. The smooth texture, and deep flavors of plum, currant and blackberry were simply fabulous. If you like biger Zin's this should be on your list.
