13 years old, drank perfectly. Still light straw in color and crisp.

Drinking well without a decant now. Classic Napa cab nose of black currant and dark fruit. Tannin subsided enough to enjoy now. Still, one could wait three years or more. When it was $20 less expensive, I liked it a lot more.

Cork broke, but managed to get it out without contamination. Slow pungent start but decant and time made a difference. Rhubarb pie and evergreen forest nose. Flavors get more intense with some air. Nice, drinking now.

Cork broke but otherwise fantastic. I would advise drinking this sooner rather than later.

My goodness this is a big one. 15.3%. Full-bodied with big flavors of over-ripe strawberries and cola. Very good today but can hold longer.

Label addresses the "very ripe vintage" and it's obvious upon opening. Dark and lush, it's drinking well now.

Superb. Lots of blackberry and baking spice on nose. Deep dark fruit but not jammy or flabby. Some tartness makes this balanced and ready now.

Nice nose of pear, peach and very slight oak. Full-mouth feel, nice balance of fruit, oak, and citrus. Glad I let it sit a few years. Plenty of life left.

Toasted oak and sharp citrus. Not overly oak, just well made.

Superb. One hour decant, necessary due to disintegrated cork. Filtered into decanter and consumed over 3 hours. Ever-changing, perhaps slightly sleepy but turning into fruit bomb after an hour. Second hour more subtle but a whole-mouth experience. Third hour seems to decline a bit. Great effort likely at or near peak.

Velvety smooth on the edges with lots of body in between. Polished nicely. Could hold a year or more but drinking nicely now with no decant.

I just found this for $4 per bottle locally. At that price, it's absolutely fabulous.

Give it at least an hour of decant and it will open up nicely. Not a big one but quite tasty.

Pretty good find in the Kroger Woohoo! Bin at $17.83. Proper rose sparkler with nice tart fruit and a bit of yeast.

Very good Zin of a more mellower nature. Not hammy, not in your face, just fruity and full of good flavors.

Plenty of life left. Drinking just fine now. Great nose of earth and strawberry. Nice fruit, but not too much. Feels Burgundian. Open this year if you've got it.

Much like Dusi VY Zins from other makers but perhaps a bit softer. Big dark fruit forward with some cigar box and baking spice notes. Lingering finish makes this more enjoyable than most Zinfandel I've tried lately.

Opened for PFLIC. Much better than expected. Stayed on table for an hour and opened up more with time. Pomegranate and violet tones. It's ready to drink now but still has plenty of time

Interesting ride this Allen. Notes of black licorice and violets initially then nothing. Flat nose and palette for 10 minutes. Patience and air brought it back around. Cranberries and rhubarb on nose and tongue. Enjoyed with grilled salmon and veg skewers. I'd hold longer and see what happens.

Lemon meringue faintly on nose. Quite tart with a bit of light oak. I'll be holding my remaining bottles a year or so as this will develop nicely.

Slightly bricking in color. Nose reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen while she baked rhubarb pie. Nice baking spice and cherry rhubarb on palette. A bit tart, some top-of-mouth tannin feel. Medium to long finish.

Very good overall. Lemon, creamy pear, decently long finish. Much better values are readily available however. This is pricey for a good chard, not an outstanding one.

Likely my favorite of the DG single vineyard pinots. Jumps out of the glass with notes of cherry rhubarb pie and baking spices. Whole-mouth feel with lively long tart finish. A little smoky and tart.

Quite good, especially at this price. Bright fruit and long finish. Certainly worth $17, what I paid. $30 at release, eh, not as much.
