Delicious Bordeaux style. Give it 30min to open up. Well balanced, mid palate finish. Excellent dinner wine.

The last bottle of 5 cases from the year 2000. A sad day but good memories and the best value wines of all time. The dollar was very strong and the vintage was amazing. If it's a 2000 Bordeaux, buy it. You can't go wrong it seems.

First time I ever had a PG wine. I am impressed and hooked. I joined the club and plan to stay if they are all this good.

Turning a deep amber color. Lovely nectar of peaches. Thick viscosity, almost syrup in texture with an extremely long sweet finish. This wine has really evolved into something special. This will probably only get better with age so save some for the future.

Decanted for 2 hours. Still a young wine. Was still closed but has all of the necessary components to keep aging. Balanced wine with good tannins and a long finish. Lots of liquorish on the finish. Had next to the 1985 which has finally reached its peak and opened up to be wonderful complex drink. Such is the case with Dunn Howell mountain which requires patience and is underrated for what it is.

Representative of the newer style of Dunn Howell mountain, more approachable upon release but still very capable of aging well for many years. Really very nice upon opening with the telltale candle wax bouquet. Very well focused fruit with caramel overtones, balanced tannins with an impressively long finish. Improved with an hour and a half of decanting as is the case with most Dunn wines.

I found it thin and uninteresting for the price. Glad it was a gift.

Needed time to open up but was still a little disappointing for the price. The recommendation I had on it was too glowing so I may have had high expectations. Still it was much lighter than I expected for an unfined and unfiltered wine. Very drinkable but I wanted more.

Fantastic box wine - yep - box wine. A mix of grenache, carignon and syrah. Available in 3L wooden box format from Wineberry and makes a lot of sense. Drank over a several week period and it held up. Will be ordering more.

After reading some reviews about problems with this vintage I was surprised that it tasted this good. Needed at least an hour to open up but was worth the wait.
