Great showing of a Gamay- varietally correct.

Tasted at Marin Country Club Wine Event.
No frills winemaker with access to amazing fruit source through UC Davis.
My biggest complaint: it's a little too drinkable so young. Bright fruit flavors, blackberry tart balanced by savory herbs. Elegant tannins on the palate. This valley floor fruit from Tokalon is what put California wine on the map. Looking forward to seeing it at 5 and 10 years in the bottle.

Waay past its prime. Drink up if you got it.

Not bad- rich and concentrated. Wife thought it punched above its weight.

Solid Cabernet. Not over-ripe but mountain ripe.

Hold- very chocolate malt taste- maybe oak derived. Let's hope it turns around after a few years.

Still pretty stiff tannins- lots of fruit. Wish I had held a few more years.

Wife particularly enjoyed the jammy chocolate nose.

When I saw the color I thought I missed the drinking window- turns out it was still in the sweet spot.
Bottoms up on this one, great fruit flavors, subtle savory herbs.

Nicely aged Zinfandel. Bricking, drinking window perhaps passed 2 years prior, but plenty of soy and umami to make up for a lack of fruit.

Tight on the first night, showed much better on day 2. Hold for another 2 - 4 years.

Crowd pleaser. The pinot drinkers really liked this one.

Fabulous. Very subtle spritz in the Prum style. Slightly sweet, but complex tropical fruit nose. No TDN or reduction to speak of. From magnum.

Fruity and pleasant. Not stuffed with tannin like some PSR, but dark and a good drinker.

Slightly closed, good balance of Fruit and Savory Herbs. Will be nice for a little aging (and better than the 2015 Cab Franc from Bedrock)

Nice wine. Greener than other 2015 Napa Cabs, which is a nice distinction. I imagine this will age well, based on the structure. Open another bottle in 3 years to see.

It's a rarity I can find expensive wines I don't think are worth the price. I will save some money by not buying more.

Not super amazed by this wine. Not a lot of varietal character, would have preferred a bit more green olive.

Ripe, my style of fruit-forward Zin. Drinking well.

Fruit has almost disappeared form this bottle. Smooth, easy drinking, but may have missed optimal window for my tastes. Not developing Pinot funk like burgundies often do.

Wow. This bottle impressed. Great concentration and complexity in that dark blackberry-fruit-bramble way. Smooth tannins (it was a monster at bottling).

Dark, shy nose, slightly more bramble and less fruity than I like. Also, no hint of bacon fat.

From Magnum: Slightly volatile. Very smooth but definitely end of life. It's not the flagship but I was hoping for more.

Butter bomb. I'm not sure this wine is supposed to taste like this, but it is lean and buttery, an odd combination. Acid is searing, and I'm hoping it pairs better with dinner than the preamble.

Going strong, opened up in decanter nicely. Some earthy notes, but some red fruit still there. Nice body.
