Agree with PatrickinKW - after 3 hours in decanter this really improved and became smoother. Interesting wine.

It wasn't as bad or as green as I feared it would be. It turned out to be OK.

Not impressed to start with, but this paired very well with the "tourenadoes" filets we were having at Aldo's in Baltimore.

OK, but not great. Had with pinwheel steak, might have been better with pasta.

Full bodied, spicy, cherries, blueberries, and vanilla. Well balanced. Oak flavors and full tannins.

A little thinner and fruitier than a bordeaux, with more subtle tannins. Glad I tried it.

Expected more from a Sags Leap district wine. This was very green initially. After a while it was better, but I was still underwhelmed.

Had with Dinner at Le Bec Fin in Philadelphia ($165 - ouch). It was a perfect match for the crab cake, lobster, and veal chops we had.

I have had this before and it tasted better. When I pulled the cork from this bottle there were little white particles in the neck. The wine tasted a bit "off".
