Great value at $23. Wish I had bought a lot more. Dark fruits, currant with spice and herbs. Silky.

Kirsch, currant and other dark fruits on the nose and palate. Big and bold with a dry finish. Really enjoyable.

Really nice on the nose and palate. Cherry, dark berries with tobacco and some herbs. Purchased as futures and should be fun to see how it cellars.

Really a great value at under $20. Lots of wild berries on the nose with some minerality. Great drinker - wish I had bought a lot more of this.

Great value, very solid rioja and I wouldn't have been upset if I had paid 50 t0 60% more for this. Definitely better than some I have paid a lot more for.

Great qpr for a solid cab. The other tasting notes have got it pretty much nailed. Will buy more for sure.

Pretty typical Cali cab. Very dark color, black fruit and oak on the nose and the palate with a hint of spice at the finish. Medium to full bodied. Nothing particularly special but no flaws either - like robertdtwo said. Solid everyday drinker but at a price point (here anyway) that keeps it from being one.

Wow! This wine is complex, fruity, elegant, delicious, drinking well now but will cellar well also. Black fruits and baking spices on the nose translate to the palate with hints of black licorice and very slight smoky oak notes. Silky silky silky. We drank this at a steakhouse after decanting for 2 hours then recanting. It went up against big boy Cali cabs and zins that cost 2 to3 times as much and was a far and away the fAvorite on the table. It didn't last long :). Glad I was able to find some more to put on the shelf.

A lot of evergreen everywhere - some juniper as well (?). Dark fruits on the palate and a hint of menthol at the end but I can't get past the evergreen in this. Probably won't purchase again - there are too many other wines out there at this price point that I enjoy so much better.

Very clear pale yellow with bright, crisp apples and minerals on the nose. Sharp, bright acidity with the apples and minerals carrying over to the palate along with a little citrus and hint of grapefruit (fresca). Really nice on a hot summer evening on the patio. Will enjoy this all summer long.

Nice medium gold color - a little deeper than other albarinos I've had. Nice nose of lemon, lime, some white flowers with a trace of some tropical fruits. Nice acidity on the palate balanced by the citrus and hint of tropical fruit. Easy drinking and it went quickly. Enjoyed it with carnitas tacos and some guacamole & chips. At under $13 not bad at all as far as value goes. Would buy it again at that price point.

Stone fruit and citrus on the nose along with honeysuckle and white flowers. Medium to light in weight, with citrus flavors and minerality on the palate. Overall really enjoyable - good value.

Medium dark ruby red - very jewel-like in color and clarity. A bright nose of red fruits, some flowers, a good hit of licorice with a little bit of tar. Medium bodied, silky and bright on the palate with red fruit flavors coming through and a little coffee on the finish. Really good stuff. The other bottle will stay on the shelf for a little longer.

Deep purple color. Interesting nose - very herbal and savory with some definite garage smell - almost like tires but not quite. Neither my wife nor I could nail it exactly but there's a petrochemical/plastic smell right up front with the herbs. As it opened there was a savory charcuterie/salumi element on the nose as well. Medium bodied with dark plum, currant and black cherry flavors with some herbal notes and a little tobacco and mocha at the end. Overall was very enjoyable (especially for <$10) and I think it will pair nicely with the ribs and brisket I'm smoking this weekend.

A super value wine at $16.00. Deep ruby in color with a great nose of dark fruit and dried fruit - prunes comes to mind. Good mouthfeel, with the same dark fruits up front followed by a mocha like aftertaste. Pretty acidic which makes it feel bright - really, really drinkable now. Highly enjoyable. Have some higher $ Chinatis on the shelf that will be hard pressed (ha - no pun intended) to surpass this one. Going to get more for sure.

Loved this wine and I'm glad I've got a couple more bottles on the shelf. Med/dark ruby in color with some cherry along with dark fruits and some floral notes as well as tobacco and bicycle tire on the nose. A silky mouthfeel with strong tannins. Palate of dark fruit and cherry with a long and slightly sweet finish. Beautiful wine and a fantastic value at $27. Will definitely look for more of this for the cellar.

A really enjoyable bottle of wine. I agree with just about all of the notes written previously - blueberry and bramble fruit on the nose and palate along with some spice and graphite. A really nice, silky mouthfeel and a good, sweet, long finish. A great wine overall but just not sure its worth the price. I've had plenty this good at half the price.

A good, fairly light Pinot that like so many others from Willamette Valley in 2008 offers a solid value. Under $25 and very drinkable and enjoyable. Notes of cherry and some raspberries with a hint of earthiness - nothing extraordinary but very good.

Light ruby in color - can read my keyboard through it - typical of Pinot Noir. Opened for about an hour then poured through a vinturi. Nice open nose of cherries, black fruit and some cola - cherry coke? Fruit forward on the palate and a medium dry, nice finish. Maybe a hint of woody sourness at the end like grape or blackberry pips. Overall a good value at <$20. Would drink and serve this again no problem.

A standard Napa cab with nothing surprising about it. Solid quality and at less than $17 a really good deal - better than a lot of $20+ bottles I've had for sure. Would definitely buy at the $16.50 price point again.

There was nothing particularly wrong with this wine it was just... eh. Typical Napa Cab aromas and palate but just nothing special about it. Won't embarrass anyone but certainly won't impress anyone either.

We opened this a couple hours before drinking then poured through a vinturi. Really nice, big nose of black fruits with some hints of minerals. Palate reflected the nose - blackberry, black currant and some mineral on the long finish. Great with grilled steaks and mushrooms in red wine demi-glace reduction. A fantastic value at $50.

Very good value - picked up several of these for under $16 a pop. Good nose of black fruit and a little spice, hints of forest. Med bodied on the palate with goo, black fruit flavors and a smooth finish. A GREAT value at under $20.

Very good bouquet of red fruit and floral notes. Not overly tannic but still dry with a decent finish. A very good value for $20.
