8/1/22, 7:08 AM - sir, do you claim 'corked' for every wine to your disliking?
4/6/22, 7:33 PM - Yes, you're supposed to pull that out to get to the wine.
1/29/22, 3:16 PM - perhaps an hour

10/8/20, 4:09 PM - 50% cabernet sauvignon, 40% syrah and 10% petit verdot
8/8/20, 6:10 AM - Last weekend's bottle remnants were goodness, esp. without the battling juices / palate fatigue. A solid 95 unblinded.
6/26/20, 7:16 PM - Only scant syrah here: 70% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 5% Syrah.
6/18/20, 4:25 PM - This is the Betz Heart of the Hill, re-labeled. CT95.6, ST92+. Tanzer gives the window as 2021-28. Just FYI!

5/31/19, 5:53 AM - you can return corked bottles to FP for a refund...
2/8/19, 4:44 PM - .(these vines are now around 30 years old): Dark ruby-red. Sexy, slightly wild aromas of cassis, black raspberry, blueberry, cocoa powder, game and leather. Fine-grained and broad, with its dark fruit flavors complicated by a gravelly element. This very plush wine avoids heaviness and finishes with serious building length and classically suave Champoux vineyard tannins. Very successful for the vintage, showing little obvious evidence of the hot season. This was the first vintage for this bottling, and Mike Januik noted that he picked this fruit later than his vines on Red Mountain. (14.4% alcohol) Drinking window: 2019 - 202792 - Stephen Tanzer. Tasting date: July 2018
2/8/19, 4:41 PM - Tanzer gave it a 93. Nuff said.
12/27/18, 8:28 AM - How soon ye forgets the 100 pointer of yore.
8/30/18, 6:49 PM - take it back, any reputable winery should honor an exchange.
6/24/18, 9:52 AM - you should probably let your 2019's sit a few months here before opening them.
5/30/18, 7:55 PM - Now we know why they were liquidating the 06's. Liquid-dating... Mind. Blown.
5/12/18, 11:48 AM - ST94.
5/2/18, 11:08 AM - less than $25, sir.
3/11/18, 7:45 PM - Weird, most high scoring wines from the last year aren't from your own cellar.

1/13/18, 11:29 AM - True I never drink quality wines young... but I knew I'd only be having a glass & recorking for following night.
1/13/18, 11:27 AM - must be an economy class pour.
11/3/17, 6:32 PM - Eh? Screwcap vs. cork has nothing to do with evolution.
11/1/17, 2:58 PM - Need to rewrite this entry, due to night #2?
10/4/17, 8:36 AM - Ericindc: I've modified my tasting note so that it doesn't seem to suggest they must be 'drunk now'. These are good for at least a few more years.
