Not great on first opening. Seemed overly sweet. After a night in the fridge it had declined significantly - couldn't finish the bottle.

Similar to last tasting note but 5 years of bottle age has mellowed the juicy fruit. Richness and concentration are a bit lacking. Not a great match with grilled lamb chops.

Nice elegant Merlot. Higher acidity than most Merlot, probably due to cool climate of Prince Edward County.

Extremely dark and rich for Gamay and lacks the usual juicy fruit and acidity. Enjoyable wine but very atypical for Beaujolais (i.e. not a great match with fish). Better to drink it with red meat.

Rich with intense tropical fruit, buttery and oaky style but not over the top. Well balanced but maybe lacking a bit of acidity, especially as the wine warms up. Good match with grilled salmon. I can see this wine having broad appeal. Great value.

Nice every day Pinot. Burgundian style, light, tart with a bit of firmness on the finish. A bit closed - more cellar time might help it open up.

Pop and pour at friend's house. A bit muted for the first hour. Also a bit tannic. Opened up nicely after 1 hour and became more balanced. Classic Rhone elements. While this was a solid effort I was a bit disappointed based on user and pro reviews. Significant sediment. Next time will decant for 1 hour.
