Nicely aged and softened, hints of red fruits (strawberry and pomme grenate), violets, cedar wood, tobacco and tomato.The wood and tannins completely integrated, some reflects of cassis but missing concentration and acidity in the mid palate, maybe slightly over its top. Not too complex, though still some fine and sweet tannins, lacking some acidity to balace the wine and make it great, probably over its top.

Alcoholic sultanas nose, on the palate still quite sweet, reflections of ripe cherries, pommes granate, caramel, sultanas, marzipan and green spices. High in alcohol, not unpleasant, but needs spicy (thyme) based dishes, or a suitable friend for a cold winter evening.
