Cork had started to leak so feared the worst, opened it up and gave it a few minutes and it was sublime.

Drank with Shelly & Les whilst watching England lose to Australia, this beautiful wine went a long way towards making up for the loss..

Was initially disappointed, however as soon as I left it, just for a few minutes, the tannins softened and it became more drinkable.

A little musty on immediate opening, settled down once aired.

Having read the previous notes I was not expecting much, in actuality was pleasantly surprised, perhaps due to my low starting point. Perhaps that's the way to approach all wine tasting.

A beautiful golden coloured bottle of nectar. Only bought one bottle and am having regrets already. My experience of sweet wines is minimal, but if others are anything like this I need to broaden my horizons.
The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Still too young. Will leave for at least six months before trying again.

Drank at Hawksmoor on BYO night. Also had a 1999 and a 2001 Rioja and this easily sat shoulder to shoulder with both of them.

Decanted and left for an hour initially, and then overnight. Could probably do with another year or two in bottle, but lovely and drinkable now.

Compared to the bottles drunk last Christmas, the extra year to mature made a huge difference. I am starting to find my wine preferences, and enjoying getting there.

At £50 a bottle it's far too young and not comparable to others!

- Ruby color - Not as smooth as I had expect from a wine of this year and age, have been more impressed with the Muga wines recently.
