Was told to let the wine breathe for 24 hours before tasting. I didn't do it, and the wine was a bit barnyard-y and tasted average. I corvin-ed it, and it was better over the next few days, but not as amazing as I had been led to believe. Will have to try some restraint next time .. I'm not sure about this one yet...

took a while to open up, but then was lovely. But not as good as on previous occasions. Definitely nowhere near it's peak, but I wonder if it might be in it's "closed" stage

Wow, one of the best brunello's I've ever tasted. some much going on, so many aromas and flavors, and it keeps changing and getting better in the bottle. And this is going to age and get better! what more could you want in a red wine ??

Dark purple, almost black. like drinking velvet, such a huge mouthfeel, dark berries, and sweet with just a hint of spicy ness. Finish goes on and on. Powerful, yet balanced.
