Really enjoyed this wine. Considering it is still quite young, it drank well. I prefer earthier pinots and this fits the bill. A bit of cherry on the nose, but not at all fruit forward. Next to Domaine Serene, this is probably as close as I've found to a Burgundian style from Oregon.

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Typically find Petite's to be too big and ripe for my palate. This one showed nice balance, and was enjoyable with some lamb chops we had grilled up.

Very nice. Dark cherry and earthy bouquet. Smooth on the palate with a Burgundian style that I really enjoy. Should continue to age well for the next five years or so.

This a powerful Zin. Nose of graphite, earth, a bit of cherry. You can taste the alcohol on the tongue (15.7%!), but it is not objectionable and will likely mellow further with age. Finish is smooth, with earthy tones and a great spiciness that I love in a Zin. Will age well, in my opinion.

Still a bit young, but an enjoyable, approachable wine. Nose of fruit and earth, with good balance on the tongue. Smooth finish. Drank it with grilled lamb chops and it paired nicely.

Can't say I loved this one. Some leather and berry on the nose, but rather bland on taste with a rough finish. I did not decant, which perhaps would have helped

Not my type of Zin. Way too much fruit for me with a rather bland finish

I'm a big fan of this Zin. For being young, I drinks we'll now and has a nice bouquet that is followed by a bit of spice on the tongue. Good effort for the price

Not a bad wine. Fruit forward on the tongue, but delivers a smooth finish. Good value.

Drank with BBQ Ribs. Nose of berry and tobacco. Nice balanced wine. A bit of tannins on the tongue but finishes smooth

Nice wine. Flavors of grapefruit and a bit of pear. Excellent pairing with grilled salmon

While not as full bodied as a true Burgundy, this is the closest I've come to finding an old world style wine from Oregon. Has sophisticated earthy flavors and is nicely balanced.

Fruit forward, new world Pinot. Not particularly memorable.

Incredibly well balanced for a young wine. Not overly fruit forward, with nice finish. One of Carlisle's best efforts that I've had.
