This wine is all about red and blue fruits, juniper, rose, and slate mineral. There is also a hint of orange. The finish is refreshing and lasts for quite some time. We're enjoying this in early January 2014. Quite a nice wine.

The nose will catch you with fine notes of rose, smoke, clove, orange, strawberry, and mineral. These themes develop nicely in the palate, with some herb notes coming in, as well. The tannins are still strong, but the wine resolves nicely on a finish emphasizing purple fruit, rose, clove, and earth. While not amazing, this wine definitely delivers for the price point.

This wine has a fantastic nose -- perfumed notes of cherry, cranberry, earth, and mint caress the palate. These carry forward into the wine itself, which also has a wonderful gravelly character to it. The finish takes forever, and allows the mineral, red fruit, and spice notes to really shine. In addition, a very good value.

This is a nice, classic Burgundian Pinot Noir -- lots of earth and truffle notes, along with vibrant red fruit, especially cherry and strawberry. The nose is quite nice, but the wine really has a nice finish -- and, while not a fantastic wine, it is quite a bargain for a Red Burgundy. Nice weekday wine.

Unusually light in tone for a Napa Cabernet, the 2007 Heitz Napa Cabernet is very nice. The nose features red and purple fruits, olive, herb, and earth notes. The tannins are tame and balanced, and support the mid-palate notes of cherry, herb, plum, and earth. The finish lasts quite a long time, and reveals hints of cranberry and cherry. In addition, this represents a fantastic value!

This is a fine example of coastal Chardonnay, deftly balancing a clear New World style with Old World elegance. The nose is immediately inviting, with hazelnut, citrus, crisp apple, and sharp minerality. The wine itself shows the same notes as the nose, with a nice balance between tart apple and moderate oak. The finish is long and satisfying, and it especially brings out the citrus and mineral.

A highly earthy nose, with powerful notes of plum, clove spice, dried herb, and dark olive --- very Mediterranean, and extremely well-balanced despite the high alcohol content (15%). A very nice bottle of wine, which should only open up more with time, with a great price-to-value ratio. (93 points)

A nice, solid bottle of Grenache Blanc from the Languedoc. It's got mineral, citrus, and jasmine flower notes, with a lingering finish. Well-made.

A nice wine, with black cherry, dried herb, spice, and plum notes, with a fine tannic structure supporting it. Earthy and a nice rendition of Southern French Grenache blend.
