1/20/21, 11:54 AM - Thanks. The event was hosted by The Chicago Wine Co.
8/23/20, 6:41 PM - Totally agree.
8/8/20, 6:38 PM - Yes. it's delicious now but will last many years and undoubtedlygrow more complex.
7/17/18, 8:19 PM - On point, even 7 years later.
12/30/17, 1:29 PM - I purchased a case of this in Dec. '12 from Flickinger Wines (Chicago) for about $55/bttl. This was my last one.
3/9/17, 9:59 AM - Thanks. It was the only "Oakville" listed under the drop down menu that I could see, but I wasn't sure. The one I tasted was TK fruit.
3/9/17, 10:01 AM - Also, I confirmed its retail prince with winery rep from Constellation.
3/15/17, 7:31 PM - I agree with sleepyhaus. The wine I tasted sells for about $40. I originally commented on its high price because I was given a tasting sheet that listed the price at "$168 / bottle." When I recently questioned the distributor representing this wine, he said "that is the restaurant price" but admitted it was inexplicably high and that it retails "for about $45."
8/13/16, 4:51 PM - Sorry, I have not.
11/13/14, 4:26 PM - Glad to hear it wasn't just me. Bought it a couple of years ago from a local dealer here in Chicago, Flickinger Wines, which usually has good wines. I noticed when I opened the bottle that the cork was dry, and broke. Have about 5 more bottles and will post my next tasting. Thanks.
11/15/14, 10:49 AM - This was imported by Chelsea Ventures, LLC (Chicago).
5/26/13, 8:47 AM - I agree with this assessment.
