Soft with a bite opened up wonderfully notes of cherry and ripe soft fruits. Strong legs in glass dark but not overly dark colouring..some tannins but not harsh slight pencil lead on finish. Had with filet went wonderfully well with food and on its own..sadly the only bottle I had.

Decanted definitely became even better as opened up had with homemade Pizza plums red fruits slight licorice good acidity lingering finish on the palate. Not the best Ridge Zinfandel but definitely worth drinking.

Inky purple in the glass opened up well after decanting , note of red fruits blackberries slight tannins on tongue and some residual. Went equally well with food (Lamb) or on its own. Once again Crocker and Starr don’t disappoint.

Drank over two nights first night was a bit more tannic second night had softened definitely opens up well. Dark purple in glass currants on thr palate slight slight cherry nose pretty subtle but slight spice can be detected

Very standard but pleasant Marlborough Sauvignon rubbed Tomato leaf on the nose tart and fresh on the palate. Had with Asian salmon fish cakes went very well

Typical Marlborough Sauvignon grass , vine tomatoe leaf on the nose. Quite sharp on the palate pale almost transparent in the glass. Easy drinking and happily purchase again.Great with Thai lime and lemongrass chicken
