Leanne didn't think it tasted like a Chardonnay. I thought it was tasty. If I could find it again I'd buy it a a $20 price point.

Yup, this works well with Spanish cheeses and meats....

Good, but I think there are better values in the California Chardonnay mid-range price world, and I'd rather pay an extra $10-15 for a Rombauer if I wanted something really nice.

Enjoyable. Couldn't remember tasting notes. Bought this to fill an order up from the winery, mostly interested in their Spanish varietal whites.

Had an off taste immediately upon opening, but opened up nicely after a few minutes in the glass. On day two it was good. I liked it for the price, Leanne wasn't as impressed.

We haven't had side-by side with other more well known big BC reds (Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin, Painted Rock Icon, etc.) but from occasional tasting memory I think this is on the same level.

This would be a good choice for a crowd-pleasing inexpensive red that works with everything.

Drank after being in cellar for eight yrs and it had a lot of characteristicd of high quality aged rieslings (toast & petrol) I didn't remember tasting in other newer vintages, while still managing to be pretty tasty. Makes me think that the better-quality Okanagan area rieslings (Tantalus, Synchromesh, others?) will have pretty good ageing potential.

This has been our go-to red for about a year now. For the price we haven't found anything better. It's like the inexpensive house wine you have when on vacation in Italy that's always great.

Used to drink this years ago when we lived in the US and got bottles at a good discount. Paid a premium to have it again here, and while I was impressed with the weight of the glass bottle, the contents were just ok.

*We actually had a Jackpot Syrah, not the listed*. We havent had the newest versions, but based on our samples, these earlier single-vineyard versions of Road 13 wines dont seem to be worth the premium. I'd stick with the 'value' seventy-four k for a Road 13 red.

According to all sources this was well past its prime, but I thought it was very good and enjoyed immediately after opening. Following days it slowly got more tawny-like on the nost & palate. Considering the increasing price of vintage port, I think I'd go this route (or LBV) for 90% of the quality at way less than half the price.

A really good OR Pinot. Hard to compare directly with others as we only have a few a year, but I'd say one of the best we've tried.

A tasty wine for this specific varietal - the few other Petite Verdot ive tried have all been unimpressive. That said, its the same price but nowhere as good as the Pirramimma Shiraz, so not sure I'll buy it again.

An older bottle we had forgotten about in some newer vintages. According to cellartracker this was long past it's prime, but it was very good.

It's not as good as a big tasty GSM blend, but for the price it's very good. Like a ripasso is to an amarone maybe?
Red
Relatively inexpensive, but IMO it's not as good as a Carpineto at the same price point.
Was better on day two, but still not something I'd buy again.

Right up there with BC top reds in my opinion.

This tastes like a generic oaky chardonnay, but unfortunately it's one of the more expensive BC white wines we've ever bought. Not impressed with quality-for price.

It's a good Chardonnay for southern BC, but for its price, wed rather have a good California chard like a rombauer.

An excellent 'daily drinker', as are many of the wines from famille Perrin.

Had an off taste. Alcohol on nose. Honestly I've never had a 'bad' AUS Shiraz but this one was the closest thing, at least bottle 1 of 2. Holding out...

Had forgotten about this one off cellar purchase, and just had over wkd. Cork was crumbling but seemed like no leakage. Wine was pretty bad though, major alcohol on the nose and taste. Tawny color, LOTS of sediment. Didn't get better with additional decanting time on day one. Couldn't drink much more so saved rest in hope it gets better but I'm not holding out. Maybe it was good years ago, I only had this one bottle....

Based on two single bottles, the 2020 is much nicer than the 2019. Unless the 'benchmark' is a separate product. The 2020 Pinot Gris is better than the 2019 benchmark Pinot Gris IMO. But its because the 2020 is really good, not because the 2019 is 'bad'.

Leanne had to open a bottle of a different wine, because she didn't want this one at all.

Great Shiraz, need to taste it side by side with the cheaper wolf blass Shiraz and see if its worth the extra....off the top of my head I'd say it is.

Left in our cellar maybe a bit too long and selected it to pair with surf & turf as a 'whoops, better drink up' choice, but it was just as we remembered, didn't seem to be negatively impacted by its 8 years in cellar.

Second Bottle still decent. It was described as similar but not quite as good as Shinaz Estates ‘the guilty’ Syrah.

We had a number of 2008's from back when we first lived in the USA, and we really liked them (basically our first examples of WA wines). This recent purchase was less inspiring. For the same price, you can get better syrahs from Australia.

At the store this was a crowd pleaser, the first bottle at our house was very peppery and had a slightly off smell. It improved as it decanted.
