Wine pours to a golden yellow color. Aromas are crisp honeysuckle and apple. Tastes of green apple and a hint of oak. Very easy drinking but not as complex as I would have expected. Still a very good bottle.

Wine poured to an exciting rich red ruby color. But after a 45 minute decant and temp reduction, non distinctive aromas or flavors could be found anywhere. Can’t say it was amazing (100 points Haha - ridiculous, it’s lucky I gave it an 89). Complexity wasn’t there nor was any discernible flavors. It was a mishmash of stuff stuck together. Overall not a bad wine, easy drinking, just nothing special.

Not a bad Cab for the price. Pours very dark with lots of aromas of dark fruit. I didn’t decant it (next time I will), so many of the flavors weren’t there. Not a true winner, but great value and worth a try. I’ll buy another and give it a fairer chance to impress.

Elegant and easy drinking Pinot noir. Some earth on the nose, cherry and plum flavors. Smooth finish. Great all around wine.

This wine is awesome. Ruby red when poured, aromas of red fruit. Tastes of tart cherry, plum, mix together with so many other complex flavors. Can’t get enough of it.

Great Southern California Zinfandel. Tons of fruit with cherry most notably and some plum, earthy tones mixed in as well. Totally enjoyable wine at a great price point. Only thing is I think it’s slightly over its peak as the other bottles I’ve had just a little more. Still amazing! Will buy lots more when they have it back in stock.

Very nice wine. After a one hour decant, poured to a ruby red color with lots of aroma. Couldn’t pick out any discernible individual flavors but the medley was very desirable. A bit pricey for a bottle I couldn’t figure out, but worthy of a try nonetheless.

Well crafted easy drinking Chardonnay. Tons of green apple, lemon zest and other citrus flavors abound in this amazing bottle. Nice complexity and acidity. Went great with chicken and shrimp scampi dish. Price was a little high but it was worth it.

Just an easy drinking Pinot that satisfies in every way. Taste of cherry, vanilla and lite funk is wonderful, aromas of red fruit are simply awesome. Love this stuff!

Not a world beater, but an easy drinking Pinot. Lighter than most other Russian River Valley wines I’ve had and not as fruit forward as I would have expected. But still enjoyable for what it is. Price point is great and I would recommend this for an everyday drinking wine.

Still amazing and holding up well after 12 years. This bottle was much smoother than the first few I’ve had. Opens to a dark inky red color. Powerful aromas of dark fruit. I decantered for nearly 1 1/2 hours and drank over another 3 hours. As it opened up it just got better and better. Lots of amazing stuff going on here. Drinking well now. I’ll hold my last bottle for another few months or more. Highly recommend

Easy drinking Chardonnay. Might not be the most complex but I enjoyed every drop. No butter and I didn’t sense any oak. Went down smooth and light. Highly recommend

Had to drink a glass after hearing about Mike’s passing. Wonderfully acidic, fruity Chardonnay. Notes of citrus with crisp tastes of green apple and pear. Amazing wine from an amazing human who changed the map of winemaking. Can’t do better than Grgich Chardonnay.

Wine pours to a rich ruby red color. Aromas of cherry and vanilla fill the glass. Tastes of funk, mushroom, cherry and ast berries. Very well made and very complex. Highly recommend this Pinot.

Mixed reviews on this bottle. Decantered for an hour, gave it a slight chill, and still no complexity at all. Fruit forward and full of gusto, but for a Shiraz from this region I wanted more. Still in all, not a bad wine, just not a great one. For the price, drink it on Wednesday’s with a hearty meal and it’ll delight.

The first 2 bottles I drank were much better. This one seemed bland and without any complexity. Then again I didn’t decanter it, just popped and poured. The temp was also a little warm as I didn’t chill it at all (which I prefer in my reds). I have a few bottles left and will try again. If that’s the case then a 1 hour decant is the key to getting the most out of this wine.

For a celebrity wine this is probably the best I’ve ever had. Serve it with a slight chill and decant it for an hour and you will be delighted to have a wine that has a very pleasant aroma with notes of cherry, vanilla and clove. Not extremely complex, but at this price point what do you expect. Not a world beater, but a very solid wine sold at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t be holding this for years, but I would highly recommend trying this one.

Wine pours to a watery golden straw color. Out of the bottle has fresh cut grass / citrus aromas. Once it settles down a bit, the flavors turn to lemon, slight oak, citrus and a hint of peach on the finish. Not the greatest Chardonnay ever but for the price it’s an amazing warm summer drinking bottle. Pair with lighter foods and you’ll be in for a great experience.

To start, most celebrity wines are horrible. This bottle was a huge surprise! Huge notes of citrus with an amazing array of complexity in its flavors. Great summer wine. Amazing price for such a good wine.

This wine is getting better an better by each bottle I open. The harshness is nearly gone, and I only needed a 1 hour decant. Cherry flavors boom out along with forest floor and earth tones. This is a very heavy tannin bottle. Great value for the price. Highly recommend

Another great bottle of wine. Solid dark fruit bouquet after a 1 hour decant. Cherry and dark fruit jam on the palate. Totally reasonable price for a well structured and elegant wine.

Amazingly rich and deep. Heavy tannins with tastes of blackberry, licorice and cigar box. Decanted 1 1/2 hours to smooth out the roughness. Can’t say this was better than the last one I opened a few months ago. Hope they haven’t reached their prime. Open another soon to find out. Highly recommend if you like a powerhouse wine.

Very nice wine at an affordable price (especially from Stags Leap region). Nothing extraordinary but solid aromas and tastes indicative of a high quality Napa cab. I can’t wait to see how the case evolves over the next few years.

Crazy good wine from an ambassador of wine making. Straw golden color with aromas of citrus fruits, apricot and honeysuckle. Get it to the perfect temperature and the flavors just explode into green apple, apricot, straw and minerals.

Wine pours to a rich red color in glass. Stored several bottles and I have to say that mine has definitely hit its peak with this last one. I would recommend drinking now. It lost much if it’s luster from the earlier bottles. Still amazing.

Wine pours to a rich red color. Aromas of red fruit are plentiful. Strawberry and other red fruits firm on the palate. Med tannins. Very elegant bottle. Worth every penny.

Unfortunately this individual bottle of wine did not live up to many of the reviews given here. Maybe I held onto it a bit too long and now it’s just a bit old and over it’s peak. Not sure, but it had no complexity whatsoever, seemed harsh and very high in alcohol, not smooth and meaty as I would expect. It obviously has great potential but I would be hesitant not to drink up if I had any left.

Wow what an amazing Pinot. Pours to a ripe red color in glass. Decantered for 30 mins, delicious rich red fruit aromas pop right at you. Flavors of tart cherry, raspberry with a deep complexity of other red fruits are everywhere in this wine. Med tannins from a med style semi fruit forward wine. This is one to buy a case and drink happily. Not sure why the bottle weighs a ton, but as long as the wine is great who cares.

Not the best Stephen Ross bottles but definitely worth the price. After trying to decant this vintage I didn’t like the lack of complexity and flavors. After giving a slight chill and almost no decant the bottle pours much better. Still a wonderful wine.

This was the 2nd bottle of my shipment. Almost identical to last bottle I reviewed. Rich cherry and raspberry flavors with a hint of pepper and spice. Absolutely amazing is all I can say. I wish I bought the hole case.

Amazing food pairing wine that has lots of potential. Drinking very good now or can hold for a few. Highly recommend trying this one.

Wine pours to a dark red color in glass. Intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. Tastes of blackberry, blackcurrants, pepper and spice. Some oak peeks through. High alcohol and tannins. Very fruit forward and intense. Decanted for 45 minutes (could have used more time but aroma was too good and got poured). High price, but a very quality wine.
