Quite sweet. If tasted blind, would not have guessed viognier. Ready to drink. Good as aperitif or with a sweetish starter.

A pleasant bottle to drink. Holding up well but I would not wait much longer as it will soon eve on the decline.

On the drier side, Riesling in the ascendency I would say. Complex wine but above all still enjoyable

Nothing to write home about. A bit thin. Not bad but rather underwhelming.

Decanted. Took a while to open up but a wine of great class. Typical of amarone but with added finesse. Ready to drink now but no rush.

Very impressive and one of the best value wines I have ever come across. Deep, complex. Excellent to drink on its own but has enough power to accompany light food.

Always a real treat; excellent value for money. Good fruit, and yes some warmth and alcohol but not unpleasant. It is ageing well and I estimate is still good for another 3-4 years at least.

I have tasted this wine twice in the last month and was pleasantly surprised by how it is holding up. Although not particularly sophisticated, it has aged well, showing balance and still with a good deal of fruit. I wouldn't wait too long before drinking up but it still has a good year or two left in my opinion.
