Lovely. Really opened up nicely about 30 min after decanting. Paired exceedingly well with the lamb roast. Fruit notes have turned a bit jammy or like raisins, but quite dry.

10:20 Was hoping for more. No decant, Woody nose, starting to go off. taste is sharp, and gets you in the cheeks.
10:37 Woody might have been cork/botulitus(?). something is a little of.
10:45 yeah too corked to enjoy. Opening a Little vinyards cabsav

Nice and drinkable. Nothing much else to say. I honestly wasn't paying much attention but I did end up drinking more than I had planed so I figure I must have liked it!

Second last bottle. It's still so good. Really drinkable & clean, crisp and refreshing. Seriously my fav Chard. I'm looking forward to trying some more over the summer to try and find some others with this little oak and this much acidity. It's not overwhelmingly fruity none-the-less.

Pretty nice. I'm certainly enjoying it but it's perhaps a bit non-descript. nice cab and very drinkable but I wouldn't call it special in any way.

Actually better than I expected after the excessively oaked Blue Suede Chardonnay. Decanted well. Not too much fruit left but nicely balanced. I'd feel no need to find this again but it got me excited about some of my remaining bottles.

It was better being chilled this time. Still a very unique grape. I enjoyed it more this time since I was expecting it.

Opened this one unchilled with my brother. His reaction was overall positive despite previous bad saké experiences. I wish I'd had it chilled which I think would have helped even more but I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of this bottle over the next week or so.

This bottle sat open in the fridge for quite a while but was still very nice by the time I got it finished. (maybe a month or more later)

Wow. That's a strange grape. I'm not really sure what I think of it. I could probably stand up to some spice or other hearty food. I'll wait for the next bottle or 2 to make a decision.

I, like you, busted out one of my 2000s last night. I really enjoyed it. I've not got the best handle on my pallet yet but the best word I've got for it is "round". First glass was nice and big, with lots of dark berries but none of the sourness that would otherwise have been there. as it sat in the decanter for the next few hours it really did open up a lot to reveal some decent complexity. It did remain accessible however (ie I didn't have to think too hard to enjoy it.) All in all it probably out classed the leftover pizza and Lost that I had it with but...

I've still got the second half bottle for tonight since people were also quite excited about the next day potential of this wine.

Very Merlot start. First glass had a medium fruit, dry finish, that was about an hour ago. Just put a pizza in the oven, so by the time I'm done my second glass it should be done.

Food mellowed the wine. Not good not bad just mellow.

I'm starting to think that decanting was possibly a mistake, seems to be going a little flat after 3 hours.
