Dense (almost chewy) with significant fruit. Very rich given the age. Paired with Filet Mignon. Overall, was pleasant enough with a meal, but I prefer a more elegant, balanced and integrated style of wine. If I had another bottle, I would give it in another year or two of cellar time.

Absolutely delicious. Decanted for approx 90 minutes. Great fruit, well integrated and well balanced.
