Restrained aromas of beeswax and old fruits supported by hay and gentle lime on the palate. Incredible acidity and freshness after 15 years in bottle, this bottle still has some good years left in it.

Paired perfectly with seared salmon, asparagus and penne in a creamy white wine sauce.

Malbec red wines (Houston, TX): Aromas of plum with more plum, sour cherries and some spice on the palate. Undefined green flavors interrupts the fruit, together with more oak than expected for a malbec. Personally I think these grapes were the victim of too much "winemaking" which took the wine in an undesirable direction.
