Definitely has improved. Will be better still in another year or two.

Good, will improve. Certainly more delicate than the '17. Less power and probably length compared to that wine but a bit more complexity perhaps. Certainly tannins suggest better in a few years.

A very solid pinot. Fairly typical Yarra Valley fruit but stronger than most in terms of the intensity and length. Very pleasant drinking.

Still enjoyable, but not as nice as the 2019 for mine.

Very interesting wine. Quiet fresh but definitely retains those dried fruit characteristics that you would expect. Unique and enjoyable.

As good a regional burgundy as I have had. Would definitely have guessed village Puligny if tasting blind. Great intensity, structure, and length.

Significantly improved from past bottles and for mine is in the absolute perfect spot right now. Absolutely delicious.

As with the 2019, a really excellent white burg and very good QPR. Much more complexity than you would expect for the price.

Even given the rice, an average wine. Unbalanced, overpowering oak without the fruit.

Definitely a simply style Barolo, but enjoyable none the less. Two hour decant and seemed to be ready to go.

Absolutely top notch. Not your standard acid bomb, refined, great line of acid through it but a lot of complexity wound around it. Thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the better Australian Rieslings I have had from memory.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Young but accessible, load of cherry, almost candied cherry. Really like the mouthfeel and pleasant finish. Very nice.

I think about as good as it gets for entry level Pinot in Mornington (and probably all of Australia). Excellent texture with that textbook sappiness or Moorooduc. Great fruit right the way through and length better than the cost.

First Rioja I have had in quite a while and I enjoyed it. As another reviewer mentioned, it seems a wine I find enjoyable when I drink it but do not regularly come back to it. Anyway, a tonne of vanillan American oak notes that hit you straight up. I think the fruit stands up to it and its a good representation of the region. Seems to be priced generously.

Terrific Shiraz and one for people who are not a fan of the bigger style from Barossa or McLaren Vale. A tonne of fruit but really fresh for an Australian Shiraz. Very moreish, really impressed by it.

Without doubt improved significantly over the course of a very long decant as the fruit increasingly came to the fore. Certainly will be better in a few years time and a very lengthy decant is a necessity at this stage.

At this stage, not a great Puligny. It did improve some after several hours, but very tight and not giving much on opening. Hopefully smooths out over the next year or two but will not reach any heights I would say.

A very solid bottle of Cab. A lot of green pepper and herbs on the nose and the wine is well balanced. Just lacking that extra power and length on the finish to put it over the top but at the price point a very solid wine.

Absolutely terrific wine. Intensely powerful, perfect balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. Has the dark and red fruits of a typical Coonawarra cab but perhaps a little more medium bodied than most. Persistence of the finish is the high point of the wine for mine, terrific mouthfeel. Very pleasant drinking experience.

Has that incredibly intense berry in it that only premium old vine Barossa Shiraz seems able to provide. Massive wine obviously, but incredibly pleasant to drink.

Certainly potential here but acid and structure is pretty dominant over the fruit at this stage. I will be giving the rest of mine another couple of years before trying again.

Serious bottle of Shiraz with great intensity and length. Drinking beautifully now but structure is still very much there and not tasting overly baked or anything, another 5-10 years would be no issue so no rush.

Lighter style Pinot; very easy drinking and good complexity. Certainly improved throughout the bottle and probably better in 2-3 years. Can understand why others love it, but for mine there are as good Tasmanian pinots out there in the price bracket below.

Enjoyable Marg Chardonnay. On the leaner style with oak less apparent than in some others but nice fruit and good structure to the wine.

As to be expected, very tight at this stage but the intensity and power is definitely there. Gave it a three hour decant and it opened up slightly, but will definitely improve with a minimum two or three years. Muted on the nose but the dark fruit flavours and oak influence typical for the old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz. Very good length.

A tidy little pinot at the price, certainly identifiable as a Geelong pinot and while nothing on the good ones has enough sappiness and decent enough length to make it an enjoyable and easy drinking weekday wine.

Agree with previous tasting notes that this is only good and a bit of a let down for a Block 6. The main thing lacking is that extended complex finish you get with the good Block 6s. I think the initial fruit offering is there but it soon falls a bit flat. Obviously an enjoyable wine but not quite up to the standard its other vintages have set. Will not improve further.

As always it is an excellent McLaren Vale Shiraz. Superb structure and length like all Kays Shiraz. Certainly incredibly young at the moment and needs a minimum two hour decant to show itself. Even then, you can tell it has not released eveything it has. I think will be substantially better in 5 years and better again in 10.

Classy wine but needs at least another couple of years in the bottle. Go for his Crudo Syrah if looking to drink in the short term.

Excellent. Great precision like the good Yarra Chardonnays but more complexity than most have in this price bracket. Hard to beat in terms of value.
