White
2004 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay (view label images)
In all the disappointing and faulty bottles of Leflaive I had to put up with post-2000 I have still had the best experiences with their Chevalier. Massively weighty and powerful and just screaming its grand cru pedigree. Vastly superior to the 2004 Montrachet I tried a while back. Balance of ripeness versus fruits is impressive and it did improve in the glass. Very good but stylistically I prefer the older ones that were a bit more airy and elegant over raw power.
White
Gentle, correct and typical Chassagne expression. Could have used a bit more tension on the palate but this is enjoyable nonetheless.
Red
2010 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Pinot Noir (view label images)
Incredible fruit purity on both nose and palate. Bright, energetic, juicy, transparent and simply very very pretty. Not relaying much CdlR character and structure but it doesn't make it a single drop less enjoyable.

flawed
Mildly corked. Very dusty and tertiary. Am sure there are better bottles out there but 1988 red burgs rarely impress. Whites have fared much better in my experience.
Red
2002 Bouchard Aîné & Fils Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru Pinot Noir (view label images)
Nice floral aromas. Pretty dense but vibrant palate. Starting to enter its drinking window but a few years more of cellar age would certainly not hurt.
Red
Stunning aromatics of tomato leaf essence (if there was such a thing) mixed with spicy black fruits. Palate still very primary with pronounced tannic grip. Give it a decade.
Red
Labeled as Lucie and Auguste Lignier but vinified by Hubert Lignier after the tragic death of Romain in 2004. Young and bright and still having good grip yet certainly more elegant and approachable than many vintage counterparts out there.
Red
My benchmark CldR producer as Leroy's minute quantity should exclude her from competition. Very well balanced wine with everything in the right place: flowers, spice and pure fruits. Lacking a touch of wow-factor to make it truly unforgettable.
Red
Lovely bottle. Unassuming, elegant and fruity. Truchot is not about power, weight or structure. Nearly impossible to find though which is a pity.
White
2001 Didier Dagueneau Silex Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc (view label images)
My third and last bottle over the last few years and all were showing well. This last bottle was less complex but the most tropical in nature with pronounced pineapple flavours on nose and palate. Quite incredible to achieve this ripeness level in a cool vintage and region at 12.5 abv. Dagueneau is, was and will always be Dagueneau.
White
Laguiche Monty is my benchmark white burg and very few ever come close. Intense wine with everything tuned up: vanillin oak, tropical fruits yet counterbalanced by lime-like acidity. Will benefit from a few more years of aging.
White
Benchmark producer, 1er cru and vintage. A touch rounder and riper than I'd expected. Good but not great, prefer the 04 and 10 that have more tension to them.

The combination of the backward style of De Vogüé in combination with the rustic 1989 vintage results in a very structured and dry wine that is very far away from the elegance this vineyard is capable of.

flawed
Oxidized sour cherries on the nose. Slightly better on the palate but not a representative bottle.
