very nice morey lovely ripe perhaps abit overripe fruit. this is a lovely wine my only concern is the price;75! euro and that is to much! i know its a great domain and i know the quantaties are low but still.
my advice would be;try to find dujac morey or perrot minot morey village, still as good but only half the price!

12/9/14, 12:11 PM - i was at a tasting at van volxem in june this year and they told us that in 2013 the diddn't make any Pergentsknopp....this juice went all into the alte reben!

Poured straight after a 2011 Raveneau from the same vineyard this just lacked the same class. It had some honey, lemon, dried apricot and oyster shell on the nose. The palate was acidic, clamping flavours down quite hard. Something exotoc pokes its head out from around the acidity towards the finish and there is a slight sensation of fruit rind bitterness once the wine is swallowed.

Nose is bit shy initially but opens up 1/2 hr later. Floral with sweet tone. Notes of violet, spice, vanilla oak and good mixed of of black and red fruits with a touch of wood. Sweet and smooth on entry. Fairly open and accessible now. Good acidity level, probably higher than 09' but lower than 10'. 13.5% alcohol with ever so slight warmth at finish. Very Good balance and length. Pretty and delicious wine, easy to like, could have consumed the whole bottle. First experience with 11' red Burgundy. If 11' red Burgs are better version of 07', then these wines are going to be delicious early. Maintains good balance on 3rd day, good aging potential, impressive! Buy more? Bought everything on the merchant's list! 93-94 pts.

11/9/13, 12:29 AM - i have drank a lot of 2011 burgundy red and white they are great right from the beginning. last night we had the fourrier cherbaudes which was lovely and the pierre Yves colin morey genevrieres which was fantastic!

11/10/13, 11:52 AM - roumier 11 chambolle musigny 1er cru les cras is a stunner!
not all producers created terrific 11 but fourrier and roumier did.
it seems that ponsot made more then terriffic 11 but haven't got them yet.

4/2/14, 10:03 PM - 130 dollars is a good price for combe aux moins.
i pay 89.50 euro for it so thats about the same.

200 dollars is a rip off and you should't pay that much.

however the 2012 fourrier is released and coming next mouth and it will be 20 procent more expensive so s,expect to get village wines under 70 dollars and 1er cru under 150 dollar.

4/2/14, 10:51 PM - i diddn,t get 2010. i still have combe aux moins, clos saint jacques and the ezecheaux grand cru.

for 2012 look for wine from hudellot-noellat and georges noellat
they have made great wines in 2012!

  • dutchwinelover commented:

4/3/14, 9:57 AM - 200 dollar for combe aux moins is really a rip off. it sells for 35 at the domaine!

the rest is export and what you pay at your local wineshop.

As expected from 2002 Domaine Guy Roulot wines, this was oxidized. (Rouge Tomate)

5/11/13, 3:03 AM - i tasted the 2011 wines from roulot this march at the domaine.
at the end mr roulot opened some old bottles and the most surprisingly
was bottle of bourgogne blanc 2002! i must admit that mr roulot opened a bottle before this one wich was corked.
i am not a huge roulot fan myself i like the wine of pierre yves colin morey much more but this is personal offcourse.

    greetings,

Sweet fruit, over-oaked and simple, aka lacking complexity.

were they 1er cru suchots is wonderfull, this bottle is very harsch to put it mildly. i diddin't enjoy it at all, imust admit i washed the bottle through the sink!
is this an accident or is the vosne village just a bad wine? lets hope for the best.
  • dutchwinelover commented:
