Beautiful nose of dark blues fruits. Blue fruit, nice smooth texture, medium body, a slight touch of spice on the medium-long finish. Drank over 5 hours, the wine as at least 5 years of prime drinking. WORD OF CAUTION as I did not read CT prior…… My bottle had multiple small clusters of fruit tartrates which made the experience a little less enjoyable. I will certainly filter the next bottle.

Gave it an hour plus decant. Beautiful nose of mixed fruits. Smooth red fruit on entry and throughout. Nice acidity, medium body, a sliver of spice and a solid finish. This is drinking great with a decant.

Beautiful dark fruit on the nose. Blue fruit, a touch of black cherry, cassis, baking spices and fine tannins. Excellent mid palate feel, with nice structure and a long smooth finish. A really impressive wine. My daughter’s WOTY so far.

Beautiful floral nose of red cherry bright fruit, anise, baking spices jumps out of the glass. The red fruit is balanced by the anise, baking spices, good acidity and soft tannins. While smooth and very tasty it’s not jammy. This drank excellent for our palate after an hour in the decanter.

Beautiful dark red fruited nose, dark cherry fruit on the palate, good acidity, nicely balanced, well structured, grippy fine tannins, excellent rounded mouth feel, medium-long dry finish. This can easily go another 3-5 years. I decanted it for 90 minutes but I would recommend 2 hours.

Enjoyed for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. Same as prior note and continues to be one of my favorite vintages. Beautiful nose, red fruit, good acidity, nice balance, tannins are present but not screaming. Solid finish. The finish was better on this bottle than the previous.

Nose was ok at best. Red fruited with tons of acidity. Hollow mid palate, thin, and a disappointing finish. I am not sure this will get better. Gave it 2 1/2 hr decant and drank over 3 hrs.

Decanted for two hours. Dark fruited nose, black cherry and cassis on entry, very nice mid-palate feel, oak and tannins are firm and still need time to integrate. The finish is dry and not very long. Solid QPR. I will wait six months before checking in again.

Berserker Day Case Purchase. Excellent, some barnyard funk on the nose, blue fruited with pepper spice and nice balance of fruit and acidity, medium body with very good structure on the mid-palate, long tasty finish. As good or better than the 2014. We really liked the funk.... Agree with most of the prior notes.

Three hour decant and drank over the next three hours. Fantastic nose which continued to evolve and strengthen. Red fruit and good acidic balance with a touch of spice. The mid-palate feel was excellent. Mild tannins and a somewhat short to finish.

Ruby colored. Aromas of red currant and forest floor. Dark black cherry, red currant, forest floor, medium acidity mid-palate, and black pepper. The spice was very pleasant. The body is medium/full. Silky texture with no tannins. Medium finish. Drink now or over the next year.

Gave it a 45 min decant, good nose of black fruit, on entry blackberry with touches of raspberry, excellent mix of acidity in the mid-palate, a balanced wine with fruit, acidity and tannins all playing in harmony. A pleasant wine for a baby. Should get better but drinking very well.
