One of the better sipping whiskys I’ve had in some time. I’m usually a blended scotch drinker. This is almost like good bourbon.

This year’s bottle from the case was delicious with well balanced complexity. Even better than last year’s bottle when I had concerns whether the case could last until 2021. I’m going for it!

Still good. Fairly thin. Trying for 5 more years.
Follow up: Once the bottle was open for an hour, it became wonderful. Changing my rating from 87 to 91 for this bottle. I have 8 more bottles in the case that I will hold on to.

A real powerhouse wine. No longer tannic, just full-bore California fruit. Enjoyed with filet mignon on the grill. Stacked up well next to two excellent Bordeaux.
