Tobin James wines across the board continue to impress. They tend to be very round and lush but drink very well over many hours. I really enjoyed this one.

Great wine that needed 2+ hours to open up. Upon opening it was a bit rough on the palette but the flavors where there. 2+ hours later it was silky smooth and great.

Good wine but not nearly as structured as the 2012 which we drank at the same time. Very round and lush wine but didn't hold up over 4 hours.

Great wine. Opened and drank over 4 hours. Would not be afraid to hold for several more years. Tons of structure and great acidity.

Drank along side the 2013 which was much more round and lush.

Not sure I would have blinded this as a Pinot but drinks pretty well. New world wine for sure - drinks more like a grenache.

Another 'lost' bottle we found in the cellar. Good news it was still a good wine. Better news we paid $5 each for 4 of these in April 2020.

So this one got lost in the cellar but glad we found it. We all joked about this being vinegar or grape juice and it was neither. Spicy and good fruit on the palate. If we had blinded this wine I would have went Spanish Garnacha. Everyone loved it as CRAZY as that seems. Would have liked to have another to open in 5 years just for the hell of it.
