VERY light; almost like a rose. We tried it chilled and liked it better that way. Mineral notes, sour cherries

Really great value. Also didn't think this wine would last this long, but it was still very balanced with a nice finish and lingering fruit.

Used as cooking wine with a pasta dish. Drank previous bottles and it's not very good.

Very classic big Zin. Very hot right out of the bottle but settled down after 30-45 min. Spicy but jammy, big bold flavor. Great value.

Delicious when cold, starts to lose focus as it warms.

Delicious with my Christmas eve lamb dinner. Excellent tannin structure, flavor of dried cherries and tobacco.

honeysuckle on this nice, a bit of motor oil at the front end with some nice acidity/citrus on the finish. A little unfocused and lacking some acid "bite" on the finish.

big bold Zin. Spicy and powerful. A bit heavy on the oak for my tastes. I think this will mellow over time.

zesty, fresh with citrus, peach and pear flavors. Not much on the nose, but overall very well balanced and refreshing.

Drank this wine too early. Deep purple in color, decanted for 2+ hours. Not too much on the nose, and flavors slightly muted, but definite vegetal action with some cherry notes. As with the 203 Les Galicets, Breton's wines need some time to develop and sadly, I popped this one too early. Perhaps I will get more and put it down for a while.

Really one of my favorite white wines. Crisp with a creamy texture and a nutty and complex flavor. The creaminess of this wine is what chardonnays should strive for and achieve far too infrequently. Story behind the wine (made by nuns) just adds to its intrigue.

This is a fantastically interesting wine. Very earthy, funky and deep. Tasted like the smell of a dark wet cave in France somewhere. Much deeper in both color (deep purple) and body. I expected a light-medium bodied wine from a Loire valley Bourgueil, but this was very full bodied, had great finish and a nice tannin structure. Could definitely sit for another 5+ years.

light, straw yellow in color. Light citrus taste, crisp and clean. nice, quaffable - great for a summer afternoon.

Golden yellow in color. Definitely not as clean and crisp as the last bottle. A slight hint of 'cat piss', and the oxidation which was a positive note in the last bottle was a bit over the top this time.

This wine is a mess. Light in color, a slight honey with floral and citrus notes. Very flabby and all over on the palate, no focus or acidity. Some sips were slightly frizzante others completely flat. Light in flavor and not refreshing.

This wine has no ageability. Drank this when young and it was a delicious 89 point wine with loads of red cherries. Now it was oily and all over the place on the midpalette with no finish.

Delicious. Slightly oxidized (in a good way). Golden in color, creamy, caramel flavors with a zesty bite on the finish.

Delicious. Brick red in color. Tannins smoothed out over the years, but fruit still lively. Went great with a spanish-inspired lamb stew.

Bottle-neck fill, wine traveled up the cork, but no evidence of seepage yet. Glad I didn't wait any longer to drink. Decent enough taste but potentially oxidized and the seemed very closed. Also possible that it was fine and just really needed more time to opne up. Open for about an hour before drinking.

In some sense this tastes like what a good Chardonnay should taste like - grassy, buttery, caramel. Once it warms up, and it should be consumed at red wine temperatures, it goes so much deeper than many chards that I have had. Honestly one of the best white wines I have ever had.

Nice wine, drank chilled. Basic - not complex but solid. Nice summer wine, good white alternative for a change of pace.

good wine - nothing amazing. Strawberry flavor and floral nose. Slightly sweet wine. Did not go well with the skate that I made for dinner - but it's a serviceable wine.
