Prominent syrah - which I love. Softness, depth and vivaciousness. Delish.

Abundant layers of fruit and spice. Much more than meets the eye. Loved it after 3 hours.

Decent chardonnay that represents RRV nicely. Not a fake, not a butterball. Graceful dinner wine.

For the appellation, it's wonderful. For the West Coast, ditto. Nicely more viscous than many. The winemaker again shows a clear affinity for European technique. I like the white pepper finish. It tastes like viognier, just as it should.

Solid. Let's keep it simple. It's an all-steel chardonnay and it's quite good.

Not unlike several Ritchies from my past. Round and appropriate to the winemaking. A 10-second delay before a delicious finish of mid-to-backpalate marshmallow/coconut/marshmallow. Very good wine.

Clearly a solid Loire style. Swiss cheese and yeast on nose. Smooth. That year in barrel is what shows appropriately. Orange blossom. Crisp. A refreshing departure from the "remove tooth enamel" paradigm.
