Have been saving this wine for the right time and when the time came, nothing. Very disappointed in this wine. To start, the cork had started to seep through even though the wine had been kept properly. The overall taste was from what I'd expect from a $30 bottle, not that of a Caymus. If you have it, drink it. Dont hold it any longer, it's not going to get any better which isn't much as it is now.

I would rate it 94+. Strong notes of leather, smoke and cigar box. Have noticed how much it's similar to other high end French wines. Good wine, but not worth the price.

This is a hard wine to judge. Never had anything like this before so tried to score it the best I could. Overall, good wine. Smooth and easy to drink, short finish with a note of cherry. Very earthy nose with hint of tobbacco, drinking well. Having drank a lot of high end California wines, this is nothing like those, very different.

It is a good wine, but still has a lot of potential. Notes of berry and tobacco. The syrah stands out the most. Would not drink for at least another 2-3 years.

This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and spent 50 months in barrel and had after 2 hour decant. It's a really well put together wine. Notes of plum and cherries throughout. The tannins are light and really hitting its peak. I would recommend.

After a 5 hour decant I consumed this wine and was in disbelief. A dark inky purple and massive nose. The petit verdot comes through in a big way. The only way to describe the taste is it overwhelms the taste buds. The wine coats the mouth and has a 60+ second finish. It is just incredible and can't wait to see how it evolves over the next decade. Going to buy as many as I can get my hands on.

Had after a four hour decant. A blend of 89% Grenache and 11% mourvedre. Very concentrated with intense notes of plum and red berries with a 30+ second finish. Still has a long life ahead.

A very average wine and over priced. I was disappointed in this wine. It had no body, depth or finish. I was looking forward to this wine and was left frustrated. Not to beat this in the ground but would say not to buy.

I don't understand what other people are talking about and their reviews are so low. By far the best Merlot I've ever tasted and I've had more Merlot than I can count. When I had it my first thought was if this is how Merlot tastes than I've been drinking the wrong Merlot. You won't be disappointed, it's so complex it's best to drink over several hours to capture it's depth.
